Oh man, if only people in England watched that game. The Bri ish would have their panties in a twirl reading that shitI kinda wish I saw the Rangers game yesterday. Based Red Star supporters reminding NATO they are not a moral authority.

Secretly cheering for Leeds for the rest of the season because of the American managerAlmost seems like a competition for the refs in the prem to make the most terrible decisions each week
Jimenez getting sent off for being clattered by Meslier is a new low
Funny result regardless lol

Unfathomably based football banners are one of my favourite things in the world. This is up there with the Warsaw Uprising tifo, and '15.4.89 Sheffield God Exists'.
Ok 4 points up with 10 games to go. How do Arsenal fuck this up?
You forgot losing to United as well
- Draw with either Brighton or Southampton in typical Arsenal fashion
- Blow it against West Ham
- Last three clashes are against Leeds, Newcastle and Everton; all of whom will be desperate for points no matter the standing

I only heard about number 97 very recently. I guess 96 really wasn't enough.
New CIA target acquiredMost of those are America’s overseas adventures.
The FA Cup set up and the premier league wealth of talent is set up to keep these clubs in the tournament for a while. Premier League clubs come in at the 3rd round of this competition when most of the other teams who would take it seriously are already out. Aside from that, U-23 teams from most of these premier league teams could probably compete for spots on Championship and League 1 sides who still get in the competition. So you throw the best of those U-23s and some bench warmers who need game time on a team and none of the lower level teams will stand a chance.FA Cup was an absolute non-event today. For all the talk of big clubs not taking it seriously anymore they always seem to find their way to the latter stages. That’s not me saying they secretly do take it seriously, more that I wish they dropped out of it as quickly as a team not taking it seriously should. Having teams that give a shit would certainly make these sorts of rounds more interesting.

Then some premier league teams will end up in the quarter finals where they start to get wide eyed as this might be their chance to win a trophy this year and get into Europe so everyone will forget they underperformed in the league
Oh even before the 1st round is still fun. The semi pro and pub league teams scrambling to get just a chance to play against a pro team and potentially make a career out of football. It’s far and away most fun in the 1st to 3rd Rounds, where you have a mix of big names and non-league amateurs from shithole commuter towns. Even if there’s no shocks it’s still a novelty. Granted I am biased as a non-league fan.
I suppose ultimately the global casual viewing audience that the modern game courts is most interested in headline fixtures like Man U v Liverpool which are never guaranteed, which makes it harder to market than the PL or CL.
