Jesse Marsh taking over at Leeds. I hope he does well for them as an American but also because he got a raw deal at Leipzig despite actually doing well in the Red Bulls system

There will be no distractions because they want no distractions. Its utter bullshitAbramovich is selling Chelsea, and says he's going to donate the money to Ukraine. Pretty insane. I'm sure he'll still be castigated because RUSSIA MAN BAD.
Remember when football was a nice distraction from the real world? Between covid, BLM, and now the war, it's been completely consumed by current affairs bullshit. There's nothing left.
That island has nearly perfected the one of the greatest sports on the planet and they are going to let a bunch of commies inject their beliefs into it and ruin the sportHell of an ongoing saga in Scotland atm.
So there's a footballer called David Goodwillie. In 2011 he gets accused of rape - he's charged and while the authorities don't press criminal charges on him, he is fined for criminal injuries compensation. The accuser later takes civil action against him and in 2016 he's found to have raped her (I use 'found' deliberately - it's the wording all sources use, presumably as it wasn't tried as a criminal case).
Anyway for the next five years plays low league football seemingly without incident (he even gets named club captain). Then this year a higher league team, Raith Rovers, sign him. It leads to a massive outcry in Scotland, with the First Minister and a former PM wading in; the women's team cuts ties as do various sponsors. Knowing that no good can come from him playing for the club, Raith decide to loan him back to Clyde, the club he's spent the last five years at no problem.
Except now the entire Clyde women's team has quit, the local council are refusing to renew the club's lease, and have effectively banned Goodwillie from the stadium.
It's a bizarre story mostly because of that five year gap inbetween where no one seemed to be bothered about him at all.
And they also proved how they're still years away from another Premier League title.A solid performance from United today. City were able to prove how far the gap is in talent that cannot be saved by a 37 year old Portuguese forward
I can't imagine them making a champions league spot tbhAnd they also proved how they're still years away from another Premier League title.
Not over Arsenal. Even Antonio Conte's Spurs, regardless of their inconsistencies, have a better chance of making it into the top four than United.I can't imagine them making a champions league spot tbh
I imagine/hope it will be Chelsea 3rd, Arsenal 4th, West Ham 5th, Tottenham 6th, United 7th, Wolves 8thNot over Arsenal. Even Antonio Conte's Spurs, regardless of their inconsistencies, have a better chance of making it into the top four than United.
Optimistic on Hammers, form is poor at the moment and I can see 7th place. Liverpool game was good but the current problem of poor finishing was exemplified there.I imagine/hope it will be Chelsea 3rd, Arsenal 4th, West Ham 5th, Tottenham 6th, United 7th, Wolves 8th
Yeah it is optimistic but I think West Ham have enough quality to finish in 5th. I just don't trust United or Tottenham's form compared to the Hammers formOptimistic on Hammers, form is poor at the moment and I can see 7th place. Haven't we suffered enough man?I prefer Spurs getting forth, purely to annoy Arsenal as a whole.
No, I want to see them in the Europa Conference Cup. I want to see AFTV defend the cup. I want to see Pepe get an instant red against Ludogorets on a cold Tuesday night.Haven't we suffered enough man?
Ha you don't know Arsenal then. If they screw up 4th, they aren't gonna drop into the Europa Conference Cup. If they screw up the 4th title, they will end up 9th or 10thNo, I want to see them in the Europa Conference Cup. I want to see AFTV defend the cup. Alternatively: Leicester despite finishing something like 11th, win the Europa Conference Cup and take Arsenal's place in the Europa Cup. Similar to when Liverpool denied Everton Champions League action via winning the cup over AC MilanHa you don't know Arsenal then.
