My dad worked in an arcade when I was little, so I don't remember the first game I ever played. But the first game I really got into was Primal Rage.

My cousin gave me his old NES. I swear to you I played Super Mario as my first game, very fitting.

The other cool one from his collection was Altered Beast.

Mario Bros. 3, when my parents bought me a used NES at age 4. I could never get past the first couple of worlds back then (without the whistles), and only beat it for the first time last year through save scumming.

Probably going to age myself, but this was my very first game.

For playing Tony Hawk Underground and for owning Crash Bandicoot. It was in the early 2000s PS2 era but we were cheap and had to either leach off cousins or buy older stuff. Still is the case to this day, my newer stuff is always a gift from a relative.

The first game I ever played was The Settlers II on my dad's office PC. Throughout my childhood I sank a shit ton of time into the the two sequels.

depending on what you consider as a "game" it would be either a marvel superheros spelling game for the v-tech or sonic 06.i didnt have a good start with videogames.

We didn't have a console until the PS2, but we did have a PC and our parents would get us "educational" games. Probably the first one was a game called Peter Rabbit's Number Garden, you had to solve maths puzzles and at the end collect radishes for Peter Rabbit in exchange for him planting flowers in your garden. When you'd finished your garden you could print it out and colour it in. I remember being so impressed that the computer could take the picture from the screen and put it onto paper lmao.

A little game called Nanosaur. Took me years to actually find the name, but it was on our library computer when I was in kindergarten or first grade. Never had much time to play it though of course, but it looked like the coolest thing when I was a kid.

I was five, and in love with the Power Rangers (the 1993 iteration). I saw a commercial for the SNES game and begged Santa to get it for me for Christmas.

I haven't played it in a long time, but it looks like it was a solid beat 'em up.

First one I played that I actually owned was the first Super Mario Bros., though I vaguely remember playing Michael Jackson's Moonwalker on a friend's Genesis before I got an NES.

I probably played an arcade game or two even before that, but I've got absolutely no idea what they might have been.

i apparently played a bunch of NES (assumedly duck hunt/mario bros) when my memory wasn't able to form and hold onto it, but the first game i have memories of playing was Aero Blasters/Air Buster for the mega drive/genesis

fuck shmups used to be rad, an alien 9/11 nuke happens on the first fuckin level

Not 100% sure since I'm old and retarded, but it's one of those three games:
or the Game & Watch Mario Bros.

K.C's Crazy Chase is all about keeping the caterpillar from stealing your stash. (look how happy she gets after eating one of the plants*yawn*)
