An undercover video published by Project Veritas on Tuesday shows a field organizer for Sen. Bernie Sanders’ 2020 campaign saying Soviet gulags were actually a positive phenomenon, suggesting that some similar program could re-educate Trump supporters and billionaires.

The video begins with a Project Veritas journalist asking an individual identified as Sanders organizer Kyle Jurek if “MAGA people” could be re-educated if Sanders wins the White House. “We gotta try,” Jurek replies. “In Nazi Germany, after the fall of the Nazi Party, there was a shit-ton of the populace that was fucking Nazified.”

“Germany had to spend billions of dollars re-educating their fucking people to not be Nazis,” he continues. “We’re probably going to have to do the same fucking thing here.”

“That’s kind of what all Bernie’s whole fucking like, ‘hey, free education for everybody’ because we’re going to have to teach you to not be a fucking Nazi,” he added.

In another part of the video, Jurek is seen discussing Soviet Union dictator Joseph Stalin’s use of gulags, where he claims that the CIA was overly critical of them. “People were actually paid a living wage in the gulags. They have conjugal visits in gulags. Gulags were meant for re-education,” he says.

Jurek is then seen suggesting that the most effective way to re-educate the billionaire class is to order them to “break rocks for 12 hours a day.”

“[The] greatest way to break a fucking billionaire of their privilege and their idea that they’re superior, go and break rocks for 12 hours a day. You’re now a working class person, and you’re going to fucking learn what the means, right?”

The video also shows Jurek warning that Milwaukee, host of this year’s Democratic National Convention, will “burn” if Sanders fails to win the party’s nomination. “If Bernie doesn’t get the nomination or it goes to a second round at the DNC convention, fucking Milwaukee will burn,” says Jurek. “It’ll start in Milwaukee and then when the police push back on that, other sites will fucking [explode].”

The footage concludes with Jurek issuing the chilling prediction that Milwaukee could see riots akin to the 1968 convention in Chicago, where left-wing activists engaged in violent riots in the streets. “Be ready to be in Milwaukee for the DNC convention. We’re going to make [1968] look like a fucking girl’s scout fucking cookout,” warns the Sanders field organizer. “The cops are going to be the ones fucking beaten in Milwaukee.”

The undercover video’s emergence comes as 2020 Democrats are slated to debate Tuesday evening — their final meeting before Iowa holds the nation’s first caucus on February 3. Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe has teased that Tuesday’s footage is one of several upcoming videos to be released as part of the group’s “Expose2020” campaign.

That's not how O'Keefe plays his game, though. The first drop is never the only one. You come out with a single video and get everyone's denial on the record, you get every single person that you can to scream, "Well it was just one guy, it's not the whole campaign, it's an isolated incident!" and then you drop the next videos, which show that it's a systemic problem.

He's even specifically telling people that's what he wants them to do, but the media is so knee-jerk that they're incapable of not doing exactly that. This isn't going to begin and end with a single, unwashed lunatic.

I thought MSM types take O'Keefe about as seriously as they took Alex Jones back in 2012. There's a strong narrative that O'Keefe is just a bullshit artist who manipulates people into saying stuff & then clips it because of some case from 2009 that they can trot out every time he puts something up.

People who think you're ever going to see a re-run of 1968 Chicago are so detached from reality. 1968 Chicago was a different world compared to today. Hell, all major cities are. While we're on the subject, I got a text message from a guy working with the Bernie Sanders campaign a couple days ago. He addressed me by name. Fewer than 10 people have my cell phone number and my own mom isn't even one of them. He said he got my number from "the publicly available voter file and the Democratic Party". I wished him the best of luck and told him I'm voting for Trump and blocked his number. Hopefully they're not all as crazy as the guy in the PV video or I may be in danger.

My advice would be to come for a visit. We have four full seasons, miles of beautiful lakefront with sandy beaches, parks, bike trails. Everything is very walkable, we have a great subway and elevated rail system. I love that I don't have to drive. We have alleys so you won't find sidewalks lined with garbage like NYC. We have great museums, a cool art deco aquarium that was built in the 1930s, a Victorian-era free zoo that still has a lot of the original structures while having been updated in the ways that matter for animal welfare. You can kayak on the river, take an architecture cruise, take a dinner cruise on Lake Michigan, ride the ferris wheel and see fireworks at Navy Pier, have a fancy afternoon tea at The Drake Hotel, have a drink at Al Capone's favorite bar, and endless other things I could sperg about. We have our own Trump tower People are nice. Yeah there is negro foolishness like there is in any city, but all the stuff you hear about the high crime and murder rates is mostly concentrated out in really shitty neighborhoods on the south and west sides that you'd never have any reason to go to unless you were unfortunate enough to have to live there.

Evanston is nice. I'm on the far north side so I'm in Evanston a lot. It's a university town so it's going to be on the liberal side of course but people are pleasant enough. It's also served by the CTA rail system as well as the Metra commuter trains and is quite walkable in its own right. It has lakefront beaches and parks too, lots of good restaurants and bars, shopping, things to do.

He was clearly laughing (in a joking/exaggerating sense not a sociopathic one) when talking about shooting people. He's a druggie and an edgelord. When talking about re-educating people and using violence it was pretty clearly excerpted from a discussion about antifa punching nazis at protests. I'm no fan of antifa, in fact I've been punched by them before, but it's pretty clear he's not actually advocating broad-spectrumed political violence. The talk of cities burning seems like alcohol-fueled hyperbole to me, and I think would to most people who are neither trying to make political hay nor on the autistic spectrum. As a political revelation this is a pretty faggy one but the dude is a potential cow if only someone had archived his internet presence which I assume has been scrubbed.
