The clip really emphasises how intolerably juvenile Taash is. There's already a word for what she thinks she is in her culture, but no, she has to have Current Year human terminology, because that's sensical. Not only that, she breaks out the very modern petulance of, "Why can't you just be happy for me?" It's because you're being stupid and insulting and are trying to make the entire world revolve around you and your feelings. Isn't something more important going on? Apparently not.

This game is just so pathetic. They looked at the gay noble guy from the previous game and thought that it need to be redone but with an even more modern take, with a far less sympathetic character, and no redeeming qualities.

With the laugh tracks and seinfeld music, it really does feel like some kind of comedy skit too. It makes me wonder how many of those 3 million of those sales got refunded. I'm not that big on bioware games, I've only played mass effect 2 and 3, couldn't really get into dragon age series. Seeing this slop being peddled out though, I don't think I want to touch the franchise just out of spite for the current devs - may end up just pirating it instead.

I can't believe how in DA2 there's not Arcane Warrior specialization and the only way to deal consistent damage is using your own blood (Blood Mage). Mana is always insufficient in large wave fights.
Isn't boring (Cold Blooded staff is broken as fuck) but can be better.
In Inquisition i'm gonna go Knight Enchanter. No shitting in it.

If the Elves knew that the Blight was in the Golden City...why wouldn't they start calling it something else? You know something that won't make people want to go there because ITS A GIANT CITY MADE OF PRECIOUS METALS...
 
You just know they are going to use the units sold to bolster the total number sold, despite the fact that each one is only technically worth ~ 2/3 of a unit since it is 35% off. They need to remember if you discount it by 35% you need to sell 35% more to compensate. Since they only sold ~810,000 copies at full price, they will need to sell ~7.8 million copies at 35% off just to break even, and we all know that isn't going to happen.

An interesting phenomenon seems to be occurring. With the discount it went from #200 something ranked in sales to #9. but the concurrent number of players is still dropping. People seem to be buying it, and then just idling it in their games library, likely waiting for them to get the game to the point where it isn't a complete shit show (which I don't think will ever happen, I don't see them supporting this title much longer) or waiting for the community to release enough mods to unfuck the situation for Bioware.

Warmachine's elven faction the Retribution of Scyrah.

The whole elven lore is about them trying to get the gods to stay with them; blowing up the world in the process; gods leave after mortality sets in on everyone; Elves get mad, drag the gods back and kill them.

Kings of War a elf mage's sort of lover caused the destruction of the precursor kingdoms in the previous era.

The mage (Calisor Fenulian) made a magical mirror connected to the gods to convince a human woman (Elinathora) to fall in love with him.

It showed them falling in love and getting married and her passing away. Calisor goes on a drunken bender, destroys the world and gets killed by his children in the vision. Shocked the woman destroys the mirror killing the gods and wrecking the world in a cataclysm.

Kind of Elinathora's fault for smashing the mirror, kind of Calisor for being so thirsty. Kind of the gods fault for telling Calisor to make the magical mirror.

Warhammer's aeldari created/spawned Slannesh and the only bad thing asur (high elves) did was create the druchii (dark elves) and being cocky. The druchii are complete irredeemable monsters that helped create Nagash and almost totally destroyed national relations between the asur's and the dwarfen kingdoms. Wood Elves are useless, worthless isolationists only good for killing beastmen.

I do not think Elves knew it was the Golden City outside of Solas and his allies. Solas said it was an Evanuris' palace but the structure already was there in the Fade.

Even then most elves were slaves so I cannot imagine what would happen to elves that could, did and get caught stealing by their masters.
 
My understanding of it, is the golden/black city is where the “bulk” of the blight is. Enough it would basically consume the world if let loose. The Evanuris were imprisoned there. They seemed to be sleeping-Ghilly and Elgar(which I’ll call them for short), apparently were asleep since they’re imprisonment though they did dream.

For the most part…I think DAV’s handling of the setting’s mythology is basically acceptable. It’s the rest of the game I despise.

Kingdom Of Amalur: Reckoning, sort of, in it elves are basically immortal larpers who just keeps larping out their legends and when their character that they play die (aka they die) they get reborn to do it all over again but one of them got sick of it and started a rebellion and brainwashed some other elves and they began a war against the mortal races all the while the other elves refuse to get involved and keep larping instead.

it makes perfect sense you can only get that from a specific elvin gym located in some ruins which is the last arcane warrior why did this random age know how to use that style of fighting.
Then again I'm just making the assumption that texts on blood magic are just everywhere since every person seems to find them and figure out how to use blood magic
 
The HoF has to make a deal with a demon to learn blood magic in the redcliffe quest(with the possessed boy). It’s not something you can get otherwise.

I saw someone on Twitter refer to it as Drag Queen Age, which is hard to beat. I also saw this on the twitter shit fight between KCD and DAV:

In any case, it would have been nice for it to be a bigger failure than it was, but I think it's pushed normies towards TVGJD, which is a positive outcome. It won't be making money, and I don't think it will be having any meaningful cultural impact. Also, the worst people on the internet aren't celebrating it as an own of the chuds any more, so I guess deep down they know it failed.
