True. I wouldn't advise Phil to comment on those things either. It can backfire really hard, just by citing his manipulative tactics. It's not uncommon that vile people want to gather plus points or create a veil of virtuousness around them. "Don't look at me, look at him!"

Assuming Phil means what he says (the second tweet is obvious sarcasm), I would argue that these people are the ones you should suspect the most. Fucking look at this clown! "Danger" should be your first thought without knowing anything about him. Pedos and socialists always gravitate to their prey. Both have to groom/"educate" children. Unfortunately, children got so disarmed by social media and the internet, they haven't learned how to identify faggots they should avoid at all costs.

Yeah, it's passive-aggressive bitching with a hint of humblebrag. Phil may have lucked out against Justin's Sagat, but it is more about him and how "great" he used to be rather than Justin being bad. He also inadvertently shows how much of a poser he always was.

Anyone can tell you that easy characters tend to do better in tournament. Phil looking down on this like he wasn't already playing a super easy game in an extremely flowcharty way. Dude's never had anything impressive or learned difficult tech in any fighting game. He struggles backdashing, for fuck's sakes. Yeah he learned a lot of flowcharts for ST, big ups. Now he gets to apply then on children.

Do a FT10 with Justin, Phil. You'd get smoked with a clean 10-0, even if you were to pick the game. And you know crossovers are cool when it's just you getting effortlessly dunked on. Pinrinpan didn't ascend to the roach poachers pantheon for nothing. It'd be a good move! No trolls are gonna attack Justin, they'll just cheer him on, so no excuse!

That's one of those things where if just about anyone else had said it, I probably wouldn't have thought too much of it. But because it's Phil, it's likely a little jab to try to discredit Justin a bit. This, from a guy that I'm certain gets his feelings hurt any time someone discredits his top 8 finish at Evo that year because it was played on a janky console port that no one liked.
A fairly high percentage of people tend to play top tiers at tournaments, depending upon the game. IIRC Phil mained Balrog and Vega in Super Turbo, which are both top 5 characters. And they also have fewer bad matchups than Old Sagat.
I don't know which character Phil used to beat Justin, but neither of those characters is at an disadvantage against O. Sagat. Those matchups would be fairly even, perhaps even slightly in favor of Vega in a Vega/O.Sagat matchup.
So if Phil is trying to act as if this was some sort of David vs. Goliath matchup (in terms of the characters), he'd full of shit.

That's if it's actually true, I know Raid will sponsor nobodies, but this is a baseless flex right now. If it's true and he takes it, I'll be laughing at his whales for believing he wouldn't shill.
