I think that what we can all readily agree on, is that regardless of identity all of Phil's whales are stupid for giving him large amounts of their disposable income and are keeping this entertaining shitshow from dying prematurely. Doesn't seem to matter much to me if there's 100 of them or they are all one dude's sock accounts.
 
Phil talking about pop up notifications and having audio and how SBM needs them for his streams.

I think Phil's streams would be better with lawnmower and leafblower noises you can activate just for funsies with friends.

Phil mentions he is trying to balance his superchats and memberships now, but he is making much less than he used to on Twitch.

Slight problem here.
Hitting the $200 tips goal was necessary to compensate for his lost Twitch income. But he didn't actually lose that income because he got paid for his last month, so he made significantly more. And still said he needed to hit the $200 tips goal.
Now he doesn't really need to hit the $100 tips goal, and he is making less than he made when he was on Twitch.
He just admitted to his audience he feigned distress for the last 3 months. He didn't need to maintain his Twitch income. He can get by on less just fine apparently.
 
And there goes the "Not talking about tips as much after getting paid" bullshit. Memoryholed already. Say's he's not getting paid nearly as much as he was on Twitch. Still needs your tips. Chatter ask the obvious question. Chat reprimands him immediately.

Why the fuck did he even create that "back to normal, no more having to talk about tips" commitment in the first place?
Did he seriously think for a second that not only would people believe that, but he would also be able to follow through on it? He's far too much of an addict to let a "slow day" go by now.
 
JakeLikesCats commented after Phil's final beg that he thought they didn't need to 'finish the tips goal' anymore.
Phil then got angry at him and said that hitting the tips goal is very important. Phil said he just said that his income has gone down from where it was at on Twitch, so it is important that he gets that support.

It took him 40 minutes to retcon the speech where he said hitting the tips goal isn't necessary. I love it when we have a same-stream retcon.

what's funny about this too is if somebody can link his averages over the past month, I guarantee you DSP almost always hit that $100. He may not have always got the $200, but he could hit $100 pretty consistently. Whales are holding out money keeping him at $3 and $50 and shit. It's not a coincidence we don't randomly get a $100 tip to start the stream or even like random $50s anymore.
 
When I first started watching the autism vortex, I felt sorry for SBM and thought that he was misguided. But ever since TLOU2, he's shown his true colors of fitting in with the rest of DSP's retards. Anyone in SBM's position would've cut all ties with DSP the minute he got noticed by Sony. Similar to how when some drama happens with a youtuber, all of the other youtubers who previously associated with them cut ties to save their own hides.

But no, despite DSP constantly talking about the trolls and how they dox people, Brandon doesn't think to himself: "Hmmm, maybe these trolls will attack me for being a fan of DSP and try to ruin my chances with Sony like how Phil says they ruined him." Hell, SBM should at least be aware of what happened to PlanetJeff when trolls found out where he worked and almost got Jeff fired. He doesn't think to himself that trolls could be screencapping everything he says and sending it to Sony or will use it to make him look bad for defending the pigroach on twitter and get game companies to distance themselves from Brandon to save their own hides

The last 30 seconds or so are fucking gold. Man chooses to hijack his own stream to rant insanely about drama for 4 minutes, then claims it's the trolls who are always causing drama and he just wants to have chill gameplay and the viewers love it!

Remember that there isn't actually an audience present in front of Phil - this is a man ranting all alone in his room about how he isn't dramatic but the trolls are and the trolls don't want him to have fun but we all DO have fun and later there will be CHILL gameplay coming up - you know, real relatable regular gamer guy stuff. I know that's how I play vidya.
 
Youtube subscriber only mode showing DSP's community for the ghost town it is has been one of my favorite developments in this new Youtube Streamer arc. His "I don't care if my community is smaller if it's more positive now" justification is pure cope. One or two big donators and maybe 100 subtle trolls/truefans has to absolutely facefuck his ego deep down.
