Ohhh that is true, so, so true.
The reason for this, of course it that most of the time it's people who have never understood kids, had kids or been around kids trying to manipulate young people who in the eyes of many are still kids.
Some of the most famous cases of successful child abuse, and pedophillia where done by people who knew how to control children because they had some already in their lives. They knew how to teach them and keep them quite.
Most of these DDLG people are never around kids to know what they are actually like and they just think they'd bang someone 5 years-20 years younger than them without a problem.
And that sometimes huge age difference is always a problem in the relationship that develops around these sexual fantasies. Because the older 'Daddy' doesn't understand the needs of this sixteen-year-old girl who misses and just wants to talk to her friends or that maybe she didn't want to come outside wearing fetish gear today.
And the girl will just pretend it's all OK while the tension rises. And when it bursts and the 'couple' breaks up she'll fall back into another DDLG relationship and make another "I need another Daddy

Although I don't believe DDLG is pedophillia (to a certain extent) I think it does romanticise and sexualise the obvious manipluation of children and child abuse. This is because it is acted out by people who don't know the real affects these have on kids and again, have never been around children since they themselves where a child.
Just like how research shows that people with Sibling fetishes where only-child's and people who want to fuck a parental figure struggled/didn't have a parental figure for them growing up.
Which allows them to be manipulated by some guy proposing to be their 'Daddy' just because they're curious.
