I like that dragondicks says she "grew out of" chan-culture and reading stuff like ED. Fine, fair enough, it's fairly common. But she always fails to address that she participated in it somewhat by writing articles for the bad webcomics wiki under the name Lesbot, something that could easily be seen as "cyberbullying", or actually just flat out "bullying" since one of the articles she wrote was about the comic created by someone she knew in real life.

It's why I always roll my eyes at people who were previously EDiots/channers/trolls/etc. and have turned to social justice. Most of them never admit they were into being a dick on the internet, and the ones who do admit it (like dragondicks here) never ever apologize for it. Nothing like " I was in a bad place at life and I trolled people because it made me feel better about myself somehow, but I realized I was in the wrong and I'm so sorry." or anything like that. Just "I grew out of it lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯".

Instead of trolling people for having bad art or a shitty webcomic, now it's belittling people they don't like under the guise of being socially just. It's insincere and it's crap.

EDiots/channers/trolled turned SJ are basically the Born Again Christians of the internet, only even more irritating. A lot of them never actually changed, they just find a better way to be self-righteous.

Seconded. People freaking out because Bad Dragon made a sex toy? Gee, you'd think Bad Dragon was a toy company for 3 year olds instead of a sex toy company for furries and kinky shits. Sounds hilarious due to the absurdity.

Really, though, Nox is based on Toothless and How to Train Your Dragon is very much a kid-friendly work. Bad Dragon had a summer sale of frigging Minion colors and Minions are also very much kid-friendly. They currently have Peridot custom coloring, in reference to Steven Universe, also a kid-friendly series. If they're freaking out Sugar Star and not those other ones, that's rather hypocritical.

Hey update on all of this. She sent me a full refund today and as far as I am concerned all is well. She said that she never received my ask correspondance, and I know Tumblr is unfortunately prone to such things. At any rate, the score on that front is settled. Whether or not it was prompted by @Meowthkip remains to be seen. Truthfully I don't really care. :v (edit: realized I sounded a little blunt because really though, thanks Meowth)

I'm just glad you got your money back. It seems really suspicious that Tumblr ate every single ask you sent her and she never responded to the emails. I think it was probably due to laziness than malevolence. But hey, at least I got her to notice you finally!

I was kind of hoping for gore art of my corgsona or my amazing Sonichu OC Meowthkip.

The channer never left her. Tumblr users are just palette-swapped 4channers without the self-awareness. She literally has not changed at all. However, in case you really are here to defend Cuteo, let me give you a little piece of free advice I try to offer most people who come here to white knight. You're going to ignore it, because they always do, but I feel much better about what happens next if I can say you were given fair warning.
There is no version of this tale that ends well for you. You might have come here with the best intentions, trying to protect someone you think is your friend, or trying to show us the error of our ways, but that isn't going to happen. There are no revenge missions to the Kiwi Farms; you're just the next wave of victims.
These people are really, really fucking good at what they do. And what they do is eat people who are too stupid to realize when they're sticking their dicks in a hornets nest. So what you need to do now is this:
Run. Don't return. Don't fight. Don't speak. Cuteo has earned this, and nothing can undo it, but you have a chance to abandon the burning ship before going down with it.

Yeah, I had a mutual I was on friendly terms with and would claim to be my BESTEST FRIEND who turned out to be sexually abusing teenagers. I had no idea. People assumed I knew but I had been completely in the dark on it. I asked that they answer for it because I wanted to hear their side, and they copped to it. I cut them off and tried to remain polite but I was just kind of like "what the fuck, ew." I was so out of the loop I thought they were still together with their ex. It was legitimately shocking to me.
