I think it's great DD admitted she actually is CGF. Because it makes everyone's life easier to just cite that post rather than dragging people to the farms as sources.

It's also funny that she has tried to intimidate people that would mention CGF=CuteO/(more importantly PonyDreamDiary) to pull posts. She wants to pass it off as a "Kink" or a "Coping mechanism"? BS. She just realized she couldn't cover her ass anymore and that her silence was telling.

Crossing my fingers for more drama and infighting on tumblr a la idcp.

This makes me angry, I don't know why. Maybe because someone threatens suicide, blames her, then she brings up shit that has been stopped for almost a year. Maybe because she tells someone to get mental help but also threatens to sic her followers on them if they do anything.

I have zero respect for this chick, but even from their own post, the other person comes off as being legit unstable. If you're threatening suicide over stupid internet dramaz, then you either need to get off the internet, or more likely are an obnoxious attention whore desperate for people to listen to you.

One of the biggest reasons people are getting upset over this comic is because the creator included a character 4chan made and 'white fedora dudes'.

It's funny. If you're male and you're overweight/you have a beard or wear a fedora, then BAM- you're a neckbeard just because tumblr says so, and automatically are labeled as an anti-sjw. That's why the creator included Vivian James. He never says he supports GamerGate, but the comic's detractors believe he does anyway- dragondicks included. Even if the comic didn't feature the neckbeard or Vivian, I bet DD would still take offense to it and her argument would literally be "not all sjws" because it depicts tumblr's 'everyone is beautiful' ideology in a negative light. Maybe if she bothered to read the creator's responses to people who didn't like the comic and was like 'well, I don't like your reasoning but I respect your opinions regardless' I wouldn't have a problem with it, but she hasn't really even responded to the post and I still see her actions as being hypocritical.

Man. Tumblr and Cuteosphere disappoint me everyday.

I like how the outrage over that pic pretty much confirmed the body positive moment is cliquish and only for people that follow certain ideologies.
 
Anyone else think the whole "kawaii but gorey UwU" art aesthetic she does is played out? It was popular in '13-'14 but now the whole pastel goth trend that goes along with it has died down, now people are more in favor of minimalist grid vapowave-ish things. If she was a real hack, she would have switched aesthetics immediately, but the fact that she sticks to her limited style for a shrinking audience impresses me.

I also worry for her little sister

There was your typical reblogging of a post defending her and calling out the people who say she's a scam artist as well as bitching that Banksy is pretentious, but this just seemed like crossing a line to me.

It has been proven time and time again that dragondicks can dish it out but absolutely cannot take anything. She'll make hundreds of "jokes" about various groups that she wants dead/demoralized for years, but act like someone making a joke she doesn't like about her is the greatest civil rights issue of the day. You know what's tiresome? The same damn fedora MRA dudebro joke you've been snickering to yourself at for the last four years.

I think she told someone who was posting DD's art to "watch out for Tumblr." I don't really know much about that purpletinker person, but IIRC I believe she's one of those people that bounces between chans and Tumblr and manages to be hated everywhere.

Purple Stinker is a garish tranny and euphoric atheist and brony who allegedly started Bronycon. When around tumblards, insults the chans, when on the chans, does the opposite. Doesn't seem to get that people know this and don't care for this kind of manipulative, cheesy attention whoring.

Artist here. I've never understood Tumblr's hateboner for reposting art. If you sign your artwork, especially with your Tumblr URL, people will find it.

I think it might be just due to being immersed in chan culture for so long before Tumblr, it's never completely worn off.

Tumblr hates art theft and treats any reposts like someone committed a murder right in front of them. It's not always good, but it's inevitable.

I think it's because of the other part of Tumblr and We Heart It, which just posts whatever without credit and sometimes they crop out signatures. An uncredited repost with the signature cropped may get more notes than the original and so they get praise for your work. I can sort of get it (thankfully I just write and nobody cares about that).
 
For someone who's entire comedy repertoire is "Lol fedora/brony/neckbeard" and NOTHING else, she sure loves bitching about people 'overusing' jokes.

This just makes me like Vinesauce more.

I suspect this has something to do with it. Being familiar with both, chan culture is more interested in the art while tumblr is more interested in the artist. Not that reposting art and art theft isn't an issue, but artists and nonartists alike on tumblr basically worship artists, especially those that draw what is the most popular thing at the moment.

However, that sort of thing can backfire if an artist happens to do something like make a dark skin character's skin slightly lighter than usual due to lighting.

I've actually seen a post that basically says it's okay to harass people who repost art, and tumblr treat that and actual art theft the same. Although I haven't seen anybody run off due to it, I wouldn't be surprised if it happened at some point.
