So uh...the shirt I ordered from Cuteosphere came in the mail today after about 4 years. (First PK's shirts now this, I have really bad luck with buying artist merch.)
Came in the most wrinkly package I've ever seen, the shirt is equally wrinkled to all hell and back. Should I bother with pictures this time or should I just burn it?

Meh, part of the fun of seeing cuteo's shirts is that usually they're on either a fat neckbeard or a hamplanet. By themselves they're just generic uwu thing.
 
Oh boy. How did I miss this thread?

DD has been somewhat of a reoccuring sight for me on Tumblr. I actually had no idea she drew beforehand and just thought she was just some other generic Tumblrina who just so happened to get popular. I couldn't be more wrong. I remember fondly of Takashi0 sperging about her on an almost regular basis, but paid no mind to it, but then I actually discovered her art and, y'know what? I don't think the quality of it is that bad.

The problem, though, lies with the fact that she uses her art as a mouthpiece. I couldn't really care less about the cutesy-wootsy gore art. Whatever floats your boat and all that. It's just a shame that such talent had to be used spreading hate against people using fanart of a show that encourages friendship. Quite ironic, I'd say.

Fun fact about that stupid deer shirt; The design was inspired by one of Cuteo's friends from 3-4 years ago, Tom Bennet AKA Futret, who had connections to Renard and his Lapfox universe through his music. Tom was a gay man who eventually turned into your average tumblrina transtrender- which was probably most of the reason he and Cuteo were friends, I'm sure- and had a pretty big following on his personal blog because tbh he was pretty funny. I remember them interacting quite a lot.

The fun part of this fact? And the reason Cuteo used deer for that design? Tom's main fursona was a deer, sure, but he was also an enormous fucking zoophile who was very, very, into deer. Balls deep, you could say. He would post tons of animal pictures on his main blog, which, according to his badly-hidden porn blog, was his place to post "attractive animals" (Mostly deer and dogs) so he could pretend to have some shred of humanity that he didn't have on said porn blog, which was predictably full of weird animal-fucker shit. The kicker? I remember seeing Cuteo's weird pinata porn on his blog, which means she definitely knew about his... proclivities and didn't care, certainly not enough to, y'know, not make a fucking shirt design for him. He left the internet about two years ago, and I haven't seen her mention Tom in detail except to say that she's ashamed to have been his friend because of rape accusations against him from one of his weirdo fuckbuddies. (Link below) He's just another guroshota-esque skeleton in her closet that she doesn't want to admit to because it would mean having some accountability for being okay with an out-and-proud deer/dogmongler, and literally profiting off of his mongling.

Tom disappeared from the internet in general after his fuckbuddy drama, so there aren't many sources for all this info. Most links or articles about him have solely to do with his music/art and rape accusations and very little to do with his zoophila, so feel free to take anything I said here with a grain of salt.

She uses Futret and Reynard as scapegoats for all the guro shota porn she made. It's their fault, you know. They forced her to draw those things, or they made her think it was okay to do. But she's all better now (after they were publicly called out and disavowed) and would never, ever draw a guro shota again. (◡‿◡✿)

Not only was Tom a zoo, he was also a necrophiliac. I remember checking out his porn blog out of morbid curiosity and seeing him reblog photos of dead animals. Not artwork, real photos of real carcasses. It really shows how fucked up Cuteo's priorities are if she thinks necrophiliacs who wants to fuck animals are friend material but people who draw cartoon horses being creeps/perverts need to be forced off the internet.

I remember a post on his porn blog detailing a roleplay he did with one of his boyfriends/buttbuddies where he played the role of a deer, and the boyfriend was a hunter who killed and fucked his "corpse", so this doesn't surprise me. That's super fucked up though, god damn.

I feel like DWM was definitely more about grandstanding than actual conviction on Cuteo's part. The people who talk the loudest about inconsequential shit that, even if it's stupid, doesn't really hurt anyone tend to have the most to hide.
