The reason she is supposedly mad is that they had to make it "traditionally masculine" to appeal to boys. It's hilarious on three levels. One, because she's the kind of person who despite throwing around "fragile masculinity" constantly, absolutely just has to have female characters just so in her media. Two, it's still pastel horses no matter how much armor and weapons you give them. Three, it's clearly just her being upset that another thing that's "hers" is being intruded upon by a gender she wanted to keep out of "her" stuff.

For all the shit she talks about GamerGate/dudebros, she's exactly like them. She just doesn't want icky boys touching "her" stuff. Her pleas of "they should just keep doing what they're doing and boys will totally start spontaneously loving it then" are eerie if you reverse the genders.

It pains me to say that I used to follow Pinkie and Drogondicks' side during my lurking days. I used to read the horrors of bronies and took side to take down the Molestia blog, and just being anti-brony in general. I was so biased over them than Tena and I always took their word. After being away from the site for personal reasons I realized I was a massive hypocrite I was; and I still regret the hatred I put on to a whole group just for having a weird side like every fandom.

I don't follow her and Pinkie as much but it's still funny to see them still complaining about guys liking cartoon horses. There's more to life than being hateful to one group.
 
I like how she wants gender neutral marketing (less pink! less tutus! etc) but as soon as Hasbro attempts it they're "catering to men" and being sexist. :roll:

DD really can't keep away from drama, can she? Usually when you want to start over with a better image, you stay away from whatever is fueling negative opinions about you. If someone calls you out, you own up to it. You don't deliberately try to start shit again.

To me, her icon comes off as a middle finger towards people who hate her. It gives me a "fuck you, I'm doing it anyway and I don't care if people have a problem" vibe.

If I called her a weeaboo I guess that would be kind of hypocritical of me, since my avatar is an anime character. But it's stupid to use something like that as the page image, especially if you've been called out for stuff like that in the past.
