"Parentification"--at least the way it's used by Redditors to describe literally any type of unpaid babysitting done by siblings. Having older children semi-regularly watch over younger ones isn't automatically abuse or neglect, get a fucking grip

The current year thing of everyone being homosexual. I think some of these people are just pretending to be homosexual. I’m straight. People are pretending to win points for some but actually pretending homosexual.

It really annoys me when people refer to their significant other as "partner". It's annoying for boyfriends/girlfriends but it really rubs me the wrong way when they are talking about the person they are married to. It literally just conveys less information for no reason.

I always took it as they’re gay and trying to be subtle about it if they say partner. Still outdated because nobody gives a shit about gay couples and if you’re a straight couple saying it, you just sound like bigger faggots than the gay couple.

Yeah, are you a gay? Call your same sex partner by the correct title, still works. Are they trans? Call them by the (in)correct progressive title, no problems! What got me thinking about this was a video I watched where 3 straight men with wives/girlfriends all calling them partner... and one was pregnant too. What a pointless change of language.

"Cultural Christianity". Why call yourself a Christian at all if you don't believe in the religion and only acknowledge it at all in the most superficial way?

Agreed that it was more understandable when gay couples didn't know who it was safe to out themselves to without negative repercussions. With most people not caring that any more, there's no need to be cute and secretive. The only way "partner" might work is if one of them was nonbinary or identified as stuff such as a gumball machine. But at that point, they're probably going to be seen as oddballs anyways regardless of what term gets used for the significant other.

Because "gender differences" is heresy in the Cult of Woke, "husband" and "wife" are "problematic".
I was thinking this would probably be the woke reasoning behind the aforementioned generic terms for one's significant others.

What a pointless change of language.
It seems more pointless, pretentious and sillier when one realizes these are the same people that wordsmith and redefine other terms to suit their liking. Why they can't be calling a girlfriend a girl friend or such makes no sense with that in mind, but nothing they do makes much sense in the Cult of Woke (as @ToroidalBoat aptly put it).

I hate it when anyone says something is "not a good look".
If you unironically use this term, that tells me that you're more concerned about how others perceive you than if you've actually done something wrong ( AKA narcissist)

They're not all narcissists. Some of the "not a good look" types are just plain cowards.

I hate it when people use the terms "Pet parent" or specific words like "cat mom", "dog dad", "fur baby/child" or even "plant parent". These type of people replace having children with animals or objects. When someone calls themselves either one, I automatically think that they're misanthropes.

The thing that pisses me off about current year is when your walking down the street minding your own business then suddenly tons of homosexual black men start chasing you screaming “anus anus anus”

People who describe their pets as their "children" should be forcibly sterilized.

One time a girl was talking about her baby. And I thought she had a kid when she said that. So later I said, “I didn’t know you had a kid” and she said “I was talking about my cat I don’t really have kids.” I felt lied too and didn’t like it.
