My newest pet peeve is “plant based”.

Can you imagine being handed some kind of unidentified meat patty and only being told that it’s “animal based” with absolutely no further context? What animal? What part?

For decades, people have made jokes about what goes into hot dogs or KFC having to change their name because what they serve is so genetically modified that it cannot legally be called "chicken", but we now have even more intentionally ambiguous food being cheerfully advertised as if that very ambiguity makes it healthy and wholesome.

I just got back from the grocery store where I saw "cheese alternative cheddar flavor blocks" in the produce section, and frankly I don't want to hear anybody make fun of good ol' spray cheese in a can ever again unless they make fun of vegans first.
I just eat meat and cheese. Thankfully I don't hang around vegans.

This one's a bit specific and hard to explain, but there's a large crossover with tumblr/retards. Using "that" instead of "a" or "the." Like instead of calling a website Kiwifarms or The Kiwifarms, calling it That Kiwifarms instead. That Vegan Teacher is a better example. Like whatever/whoever is the only example of that thing, or assuming you were already talking about it.

Hit me with that autism rating, mm yeah

The term "OOMF" pisses me off beyond belief. It's supposed to be "one of my friends/followers," but it sounds like Mario getting hit.

Didn't it used to mean emphasis? What happened here?

A faggot on reddit tried to argue, how animesexuality is a thing. Apparently being locked in a basement is a sexuality now.
According to the faggot wiki animesexuality is some kind of sub-sexuality of Asexuality.
On Wikipedia it literally says "Asexuality is the lack of sexual attraction to others, or low or absent interest in or desire for sexual activity." And I hate to break it to those dipshits, but beating your meat to goddamn drawings is sexual activity

Not a term, but I'm sick of this "flat style" that Western graphic design is obsessed with in Current Year. Since 2020 it looks like it's more popular than ever.

Ironic that in age of 24-bit RGB color and HD being standard, soy hipsters really like a style that could easily be done on a low resolution early '80s 8-bit system.

One commercial recommended giving it to your kids so they don't have to learn about animal death

Lately I've seen people use the phrase "buy me a coffee" in place of "donate to my Patreon" and I hate it. It's like "SMASHing the like button and RINGing that bell!" Nigga if you're going to beg me for Patreon dollars (or likes) just say it to my face.

What the hell does "deadass" mean? I see zoomers use this all the time and I don't understand. Abe Simpson was right; what's "it" is weird and scary to me.

"Cancelled"
"Cancel culture"
"Orange man bad"
"Fat acceptance"...you're basically supporting being an unhealthy blob and dying of a heart attack

If you ever use the term "good/bad faith" in an argument it's an insta-ignore from me.

Especially if you unironically use it as an argument.
