I looked this up because I wanted to know when this came out. You'd think it would have been released in the late 90s as another victim of terrible localization, and the portraits made me think it was for PS1. But no, this shit was localized in 2008. That is shameful.

The worst modern voice acting is NBA 2k15, unless its Kareem Abdul Jabbar no basketball player should ever do anything remotely acting.

 
DmC: DMC is full of atrocious writing, but the cutscene before the Succubus fight is a special highlight. The older games had goofy banter between Dante and whatever demon he was fighting but this just sounds like it was written by an edgy 14 year old whose best idea of insulting is throwing curse words with no creativity to them.

That whole game has ridiculous edgey moments even to the end credits, which feature a Ninja Theory employee riding a skateboard and flipping the camera off.
 
Spongebob's dehydrated face in the treedome in Battle for Bikini Bottom freaked me out so bad as a kid that I had to squint my way through the level. Saw it again when watching SomeCallMeJohnny's review nearly a decade later as a teenager and it was just as terrifying. I'm afraid of seeing it now because I'm afraid I'll still be creeped the fuck out by it.

Speaking of which, the egyptian statue boss in Sonic Adventure 2 also still creeps me out to this day, albeit to a lesser extent.

The ghosts that jump-scare you still scare the shit out of me. I refuse to play most of Knuckles' levels because of it. Even just seeing the regular looking ones in Pyramid Cave makes me uneasy even though they aren't the ones that freak me out.

That one giant paper mache-looking Eggman statue that appears in full view like halfway through that one Tails level made me frantically turn off the Gamecube the first time I saw it.
