Consoomers / Consoomer Culture - Because if it has a recogniseable brand on it, I’d buy it!

But according to @NoReturn that would be a consoomer/lolcow/manchild
Having an entire room of one product?
Yes, that's a problem.

Keeping your cars toys, putting some of them up for display, putting some of them away in the attic or elsewhere.
That's fine.

If its clean, isn't all over the place and doesn't dominate the room with how much of the brand there is, its fine.

This is acceptable IMO.
Its on one bit of the room.
If its everywhere in the room, its nearing consoom tier.

Thank you, that's all I wanted to know.
I need an image to tell me what is good and what isn't.
I'll be getting rid of my stuff and keep the ones I want.
Buying less manchild toys won't make you less of an autistic sperg. Have sex.
I don't buy them, I've just kept the stuff I got years ago. It's just how much do I have to get rid of that I'm not sure about.
What is the problem with me then. What do I need to stop doing.

Then why were you shitting up the thread for if you weren't even practising consoomerism in the first place?!

And as for advice, just get rid of everything. It's only Disney plastic crap of a meme film, no one's going to miss it. Donate it to charity shops so kids can play with them cuz a grown man doesn't need old toys anymore.
Hell, even give them to impoverished families for Christmas!

Because I see people looking at rooms with star wars toys in them for display and calling them consoomers and man children in this thread.
I wanted to ask WHY these people are manchildren and how are they consoomers. Is it because they still own star wars toys?
Is it because they act like children?
It’s a man-child shrine. If any part of your house looks like that then your parents failed.
By this guys logic, all of your parents failed because you still own toys and stuff.
If its clean, isn't all over the place and doesn't dominate the room with how much of the brand there is, its fine.

Whats the difference between the Star wars shrine and this?
It still has a number of toys?
More than one die cast per 2 levels of bookshelf.
That breaks @NoReturn rule.
So WHY is that fine.

Your questions have been answered. Repeatedly. Now you must take the opinions you have been given and parse them for your own conclusion.

$6k is way too much for a stereo setup.
Agreed. I got a pair of second-hand JBL studio monitors for about 200 bucks and they're perfectly suitable for the audio production I do.

Once you've paid a fair price for a quality product that will last, the diminishing returns of audio equipment falls off incredibly quickly. Something like speakers simply aren't that complex from an engineering, manufacturing, or material perspective.

If I have a bookshelf of my old toys and another bookshelf for the games I've got, and leave it at that that's fine.
I'll go with that.

What makes you a consooooomer?

1. Be an autistic fuck who can't talk about anything else, but what they consoom
2. Can't stop showing off there "collection"
3. Be a faggot who puts his "collection" before other, more essential things
4. Putting your "collection" before your family and friends
5. Make that what you consoom your prime identity (related to point 1)
6. be a jew
7. Just wanting to have things to have them and not putting in the time and work to understand and know your "collection".
8. Boasting about your "collection" (related to, but not the same as point 1)
9. Have the autistic need to defend your degenerate consooming behavior.
10. Seek validation from other consoomers.
11. Brand? MUST BUY! New? MUST BUY! (AKA no impuls controle)
12. etc.

There are probably things I forgot to list, but this list makes the point.

To be a consoomer you don't need to possess all the points in the list above, but atleast a few of them to a strong degree.

While collections may not always fall to the depths of consoomerism, collecting things is an inherently pretty faggy hobby that's tolerable at best.

I can't imagine my creative outlet being the mere acquisition of things that others have created.
