Excited to watch this season. Does anyone have a way to get Clarkson's Sunday piece in the Daily Mail or whatever without a paywall?
My only way of finding out what he wrote in newspapers over the years was the books that collected his articles. An obvious paywall but perhaps there's some rips out there.

Having finished this most recent season, I believe it is safe to say that Clarkson is just as much of a clueless mook as ever.
I'm happy to see him using his celebrity for good, and him winning against the counsel is a victory over the vermin, otherwise known as bureaucrats, for little people everywhere.
I'm excited to see what else comes out of Diddly Squat and company.

Seven episodes into the new season:

The mushrooms were pretty funny, finally a scheme that he was successful at. Also Kaleb going "What the fuck is that" when seeing the genderspecial stoplight made me laugh. Still have the final episode to watch, I am glad that theres going to be at least one more season, I wonder what new farm animal is going to die next?

I just watched episode 4 and it was heartbreaking
Devastating episode. I'm so upset (:_(

I never thought I'd enjoy this show as much as I have because Clarkson has always come across as a massive fucking knob, but I've taken a liking to him watching this.

And even though I had friends grow up in rural NSW and spent time on sheep farms etc, this show has been very eye opening about the realities of farming.

Every time I watch this show I become vegetarian for like 2 months afterwards because the animal deaths make me unbelievably sad. They're sooo cute ☹️

Good series and good to know they have already started filming the next one.

Also I find it amusing that Clarkson once again made one of those sexiest man lists and people find it surprising despite the fact that he ticks even the boxes people lie about finding attractive.

Willing to cry in public, talk about his emotions, be vulnerable etc. all occurred within about 2 episodes.

Charlie also was on form with this season, be it his realisation that Caleb was worse than Jeremy when it came to some conversations or the point where he was having to argue both sides of a negotiation the fellow was pretty on point.

Caleb is the opposite issue of Jeremy for being too well versed in the subject to be open for differing views. The stars were aligned when he was picked to help Jeremy.

Also that negotiation scene was fucking amazing. Modern comedy actors wish they could be half as funny.

I'd love to see him try to expand the trout thing into aquaponics in the future.
Hasn't had the greatest track record with neither animals nor plants but if he lets both of them do the heavy lifting for him he might end a season with both very positive animal products & produce.

Good show. It makes me empathize with the British while wishing death upon them. @Null good show. Clarkson, entertaining British man who hates Cyclists, has to suffer the slings and arrows of a council of Vordraks and their Redditor barrister.

Given season 3 a start. Nothing gives a better sense of the tyranny-tier loicense culture of the UK than this show in my opinion.

Just starting it myself and I agree. Kind of thing that makes you want to use the advantage of being American to cyber bully that council, but all this happened 2 years ago so its kind of too late.

The bit where he went to play video for Charlie, said it was the prime minister speaking, and then it was that woman who was prime minister for like a couple weeks and everyone hated her had me laughing.

It's scary how multi faceted it is. At least in dystopias you only have one/two police factions. Here you have the local council not letting you build on your own fucking property, EU farming regulations, UK farming regulations, construction regulations, veterinarian regulations (which aren't as bad compared to the rest).

You really get a sense of how self sabotaging the UK has become to the point that it's infeasible to have a food manufacturing industry, just import the food from Ukraine, what's the worse that can happen?
