I guess the "no he hasn't" has been deleted. He wasn't arrested. Someone used video of a prank played on him years ago, by annoying scouse team-up ant and dec, and recycled it into a lie to get twitter money.

That aside, season 4 is due in may 2025, and "the world according to caleb" is on prime now, apparently.

May 23rd to be exact.
I didn't know where to post this trite shit but its related to Clarkson.
It's fun to think about how Clarkson and May went on to do interesting programmes during and after Top Gear but Hamster's shit hasn't gained any traction. even after the grand tour, clarkson has his farm show and May a cooking, travel (which petered out after series 1) and Man Lab but geriatric.

I still haven't seen Hamster's great escape pop up in an organic way.

Anyway, looking forward to series 4.

Wasn't Hammond also doing some car restoration show on Discovery? I think he is in a bit of a rough patch, since he has recently gotten divorced. He also seems more active on DriveTribe.

The Smallest Cog. It's still going, so it must be bringing in decent enough ratings. It looks like Hammond has mostly replaced the Scottish dip on drive tribe as well.

It's absolutely no surprise that Clarkson is the most successful of the trio. He is a Type A Personality, who thrives in a sea of strife. He's one of the very few conservatives in British television and openly despises the Leftists who run the industry, but knows his worth and knows exactly how far he can push things.

I feel bad for Hampster, he is great in being the middle ground between Clarkson's retardation and May's autism. But on his own he comes out as bland.

Yeah, I agree. He works best playing off one or both of the others. Even stuff he's done that I enjoyed like brainiac was quite bland.

All three of the trio have done good solo work, mostly as hosts for documentaries and specials on BBC. They're all fantastic orators and story tellers, but they haven't done many since they ended their Top Gear stint; Hammonds most recent was one on the UKs waterways in 2022. It's comfy.

Hammond just needs a good show idea. He can do funny, he can do serious, but it needs to be well written and thought out. Great Escapes could have worked as a one off special but as a series it's just a little weird. Clarksons Farm and James Mays cooking and travel shows are much better suited to be a series. I do hope we get more Hammond but it does seem he's pulling back from TV :(

I remember watching the first episode of the castaway thing and I was like "oh is this a pre-cap of footage to pique your interest? oh nope it's just rushed as fuck with tons of quick cuts". I had genuinely expected a safe and inoffensive take on island survival. You know, survival tips but presented in a more digestible way than 'we hired a real survivor with no charisma to do it' akin discovery channel.

I mean he's got his tiniest cog workshop thing and his wife just ditched, I can see why he's putting off TV work he quite literally does not need. I honestly would enjoy each of them reducing their stuff; the farm, the pub, the workshop to generic social media ventures. Do some livestreams, some real fan work. Drive Tribe was all things considered small as fuck and all the videos they've done were basically '5 zoomer interns tardwrangle the trio for a one-off trend video' like drunk chess or whatever.

That said, Clarkson's Farm did a lot of good for the farmers I think. I looked up a few of his neighbors who also do youtube content and they all appreciate him. I knew a youngish guy who had a farm and he quit to become a cashier of all things and made MORE than a whole-ass medium sized farm could net him. You need to reach actual millionaire amounts of land to make what you'd consider a great buck. Farming is so interesting but I think you're better off as an average bloke to do contract work for other farms.

It's the same thing with fishing. For each boat you got a certain amount of quota you can fish, so the companies buy boats simply to own their quota while using their industry-level boats to do the actual fishing. They done gone fucking killed one of the most culturally important heritage professions: Gathering food.
Season 4 trailer is up piggies

Holy fuck, they replaced Kaleb with a woman. Gone woke???

Even in Top Gear I don't remember Hammond having notable segments that only include him (and doesn't end with him nearly dying). He has good qualities and less burned bridges than the other two, but I just can't see him doing a show where his job isn't reacting to what other people do.

He had the Veyron vs Eurofighter and the Bowler Wild Cat where he exclaimed "I am a driving god".

I've only watched the first two episodes, but I've liked Harriet's (the tiktoker) attitude. Was hilarious her trying to show Clarkson that you can tell which pig is female because of the clitoris
Yeah when I saw she was a tiktoker in the original advert I assumed she was some sort of e-celeb I had never heard of before and was going to be annoying but yeah she's well turned out.

I like the show but I'm just dreading the dumb as shit things the UK is doing. Hope the whole political bullshit isn't there because it's just angering.

New coworker is a cutie. Not a bombshell in any way but she hasn't done anything to make a bad impression.
