I just saw it as a last ditch effort to have the last word. "Alright, fine... toss me out... Hmm- But I wh- I will not give you the satisfaction of me helping! You'll just have to carry me... but be warned, if you do, you'll pierce your hands on the quills of the innocent! Any suffering will be on your hands! HEDGEHOG DEFENSE, ACTIVATE!!"
It's Chris' narcissistic way of getting back at the adults for telling him, "No." If someone threw their back out trying to get his fat ass out of there, "Well you shouldn't have kicked me out".
 
Flight is definitely safer for Chris. Also, if your emotional stability is shaken because Null isn't saying "die Chris, die." I think you you might need counseling 🤔.

Honestly I think it's far simpler than that and goes into Chris's Autism on a base level.

He simply got overwhelmed with the situation and his only recourse was to completely and utterly shut down. Hence, 'Hedgehog Defensive Position' is just his bullshit way of trying to explain it, maybe he even believes it, but Chris really is quite clueless when it comes to understanding his own psychology. Unsurprisingly.
 
Isn't Chris basically a pariah even by Brony standards? I recall hearing he was on some Brony convention blacklists which preemptively banned him before he'd even have a chance to show up.

Also, was there any specific incident that resulted in this, or is it just due to his long documented history of abnormal behavior (such as his criminal records for assaulting store employees)?

Not to mention that during that time of year, it's peak fire season in the western USA, so driving through the mountains is a bad idea if it's super smoky here. Flying would def be safer for him if he managed to make it to Seattle.

It’s hard to say. He got preemptively banned from one Brony convention. On one hand, he has a lot of negative qualities that make him a prime candidate to be on the “Do Not Clop” list: appearance, history of getting banned from everywhere else, etc.

On the other, these are Bronies and they spend too much time on Twitter so who knows if this is just them being melodramatic for attention.

From Brony Con reports, Chris seemed to exist peacefully even while dancing with his invisible hedgehog daddy in public.

I believe in leaving the Petri dish alone without outside influence. However, if other people want to throw money at Chris or organize trips for him, I’m not sure why that is worth getting mad about. Plenty of worse people get more for doing less. Let Chris have his one happy moment of the year.

No that was Seaquestria, straight shooter was thinking of that one which is different. True the ones behind Seaquestria are Fuck ups too but theyve been trying to hold their first con in the resort town ocean city MD not a cruise.

It's been postponed twice due to covid, but give them some credit. They banned not only Chris but also a known pedofork and a sex abuser, even putting Chris's name first on the ban list above said pedofork and abuser.

So yes by all accounts Chris is an outcast to outcasts even they don't want anything to do with him.

There are shit ton of people ween or otherwise are brigading to inform every con he tries to attend to get him banned. This year is a slow one

Midwest FurFags would be more than willing to let Chris in. They allow sex offenders, outed zoophiles then some.

I don't think Chris would be going alone. Surely he's gonna be accompanied by someone or a "retinue".

Personally, I wish he'd go alone so that the chances of lulzy events (especially during the trip) happening increase.

Who would go with him?

The problem here is that Chris is in one track mind mode. He wants to get to this convention, as brony conventions pretty much are the 'MHS reunions' he dreamed of and never got to attend (not like he wouldn't have been a social outcast at those anyway). The long list of reasons why Chris shouldn't go are already detailed enough, but Chris is honestly dangerous to himself in that he'll put himself in bad positions where he generally will not be able to function.

This is like his trip to Ohio, except far more demanding in a far shittier vehicle that possibly will not be able to even make it. And has he even been vaccinated? THAT could cause problems crossing state lines.
