second, did you not make a fucking budget?
You're supposed to share this kind of information and be transparent on a Kickstarter if you want people to pledge, otherwise you look like shady scammers that just want to exploit a mentally handicapped individual, take a bunch of money and run!
Why did you make this Kickstarter if you were going to half-ass it? Why did you just copy and paste other people's reward tiers?
You could have at least put more effort into the video, say something about he actual project!

Because the project is catered to people who probably already know Chris and know what a documentary entails, can see the trailer and put two and two together. If you were scammed, we wouldn't be sitting on all this footage lol. If anything we scammed ourselves if the kickstarter doesn't make any money, and we still finish a docu with what we got. That's understood in doing this but we figured we'd try it.

Kickstarter funds are taken from backers at the end of a successful campaign, they don’t get anything up front like they do with other fundraisers such as Indiegogo.

Why don't you just put the information anyways? It doesn't matter if we know Chris well already or not. It's just basic practice.
 
As much as a fully produced documentary with new footage would be interesting, I have a hard time wanting this to happen. Also twenty grand? Fuck right the hell off, Geno has been doing an objectively good job at his documentary series and hasn't asked for a dime. I fail to see how this project is worth twenty thousand dollars more than Geno's work.

Rate me mad at the internet, but this actually annoys the hell out of me. This literally reads like some film school drop-out with a camera his daddy brought him latching on to something slightly popular on the internet because he knows Chris' autistic orbiters will pay stupid amounts of money for anything with him in it.

And what, you're asking for twenty grand and you can't even do the basic Kickstarter courtesy of providing a budget and providing your fucking credentials? You don't just launch a Kickstarter with a trailer, reward tiers you copied from other film projects and a twenty thousand dollar goal. Jesus Christ, these fucks put in less than the bare minimum amount of effort required to launch a project. This 100% deserves to fail and I hope to god it does.

The only interesting thing in that trailer: Barb doesn't call Chris by his prefered pronouns.

Me, No. I'm not that involved in making the docu except i'm friends with Joseph and tried to contact people to see if they wanted to talk on Chris in the Documentry. Everyone we talked to thus far has expressed interest in being included to talk Chris and the Sagas, they never asked to be paid but if the kickstarter gets funded we would try to interview them in person and make sure they are compensated.

Joseph is just a regular guy who went to film school years ago and never got to make anything and he wanted to make his first film. We got lucky approaching Chris and got more access than we really anticipated, and because of that we thought we'd try a kickstarter.

We paid everyone for their time and they would get a cut of proceeds if the film makes any money.

It seems the only access that you had that they didn't is Chris and co. Are you really flying the docu makers to VA just to meet them and ask a couple questions?

This all seems sketchy as hell. You said you had enough to make the film and want the money just to expand. I suggest you make do with what you have first and then ask for help.

When was that bit with Megan filmed? Chris recently said he was going to visit her, and she told him to back off. Was it before or after that? I'm honestly surprised she agreed to participate.

Gonna be honest, Chris pulling a spoiled starlet and refusing to appear in the documentary unless they triple his pay would be pretty funny.

Access meaning, Chris was really interested in helping out once we got filming and he gave us things like the fabled "Master Copy" of I'm On TV! and the director's cut, without us asking. We got to film in his house, get a new house tour, met Barb, got a interview with her. A lot of the film will be from their perspective, while we anticipated people who have already talked and described the sagas, can talk about those because they really understand them better than Chris. And obviously we got a interview with Megan.

If you guys like the idea of the docu or not, we still made sure to consider some of your questions and what not in the process. So i mean we are working with a lot of stuff and there is new stuff in there we know you guys will like. Not saying buy it or donate, but i think some of you would find it an interesting watch.

So why the fuck, rather than trying to crowdfund a documentary from some film school drop out that nobody has ever heard of, wouldn't you try and contact someone like Geno and maybe try to collab with him? At least people KNOW Geno's work and know it's high quality, and he does that on a budget of nothing. I still fail to see why this is worth twenty thousand fucking dollars more than Geno's work.

Twenty thousand dollars for the first piece of work from a filmmaker that has never made anything in his life. There are people who have actually MADE THINGS that ask for less money than that.

Seriously, explain it to me. Why is this worth twenty thousand dollars? Where is the cost break down? Where is the budget? If it exists, why is it not on the Kickstarter? You lot haven't planned shit, have you?
