A heated row has broken out over a move by Britain's largest bakery chain to launch a vegan sausage roll.

The pastry, which is filled with a meat substitute and encased in 96 pastry layers, is available in 950 Greggs stores across the country.

It was promised after 20,000 people signed a petition calling for the snack to be launched to accommodate plant-based diet eaters.


But the vegan sausage roll's launch has been greeted by a mixed reaction: Some consumers welcomed it, while others voiced their objections.

Cook and food poverty campaigner Jack Monroe declared she was "frantically googling to see what time my nearest opens tomorrow morning because I will be outside".

While TV writer Brydie Lee-Kennedy called herself "very pro the Greggs vegan sausage roll because anything that wrenches veganism back from the 'clean eating' wellness folk is a good thing".

One Twitter user wrote that finding vegan sausage rolls missing from a store in Corby had "ruined my morning".

Another said: "My son is allergic to dairy products which means I can't really go to Greggs when he's with me. Now I can. Thank you vegans."

TV presenter Piers Morgan led the charge of those outraged by the new roll.

"Nobody was waiting for a vegan bloody sausage, you PC-ravaged clowns," he wrote on Twitter.

Mr Morgan later complained at receiving "howling abuse from vegans", adding: "I get it, you're all hangry. I would be too if I only ate plants and gruel."

Another Twitter user said: "I really struggle to believe that 20,000 vegans are that desperate to eat in a Greggs."

"You don't paint a mustach (sic) on the Mona Lisa and you don't mess with the perfect sausage roll," one quipped.

Journalist Nooruddean Choudry suggested Greggs introduce a halal steak bake to "crank the fume levels right up to 11".

The bakery chain told concerned customers that "change is good" and that there would "always be a classic sausage roll".

It comes on the same day McDonald's launched its first vegetarian "Happy Meal", designed for children.

The new dish comes with a "veggie wrap", instead of the usual chicken or beef option.

It should be noted that Piers Morgan and Greggs share the same PR firm, so I'm thinking this is some serious faux outrage and South Park KKK gambiting here.

Most of these are the youth vote. They're already fucked but if this Corbyn party gathers steam, it could make the 2029 election into a battle of the English vs Muslims.

At a guess? Standard shitty incel stuff with a side order of racial grievances exacerbated by being the inferior offspring would be my guess. If you look at his age he'll have had awful lockdown shit during a developmental part of his life which will have driven him heavily online. Add to that St George of the Floyd bringing out the worst racial grifters he'll have been told women and white people are the source of all of his problems from all sides, except for those telling him it's his fault for being male, and likely went back from lockdown with a chip on his shoulder which led to the suspension from the school he initially planned to target.

Don't get me wrong, I think something stinks about the family too. But I think the simplest explanation is more likely that he got radicalised from his screen.

Not that this means I support the child safety act and all that nonsense. Instead I think it's part of the same shit that leads to higher suicide rates for men, boys falling behind in school and a long list of other stuff coupled with an environment that easily leads people to idiot radicalisation. In a lot of ways he's potentially a female version of Sasha Johnson but rather than going into "activism" he went for violence towards a group that seemingly represented those he blamed the most for his issues that he could easily access.

We have a steel industry? One of those fun facts that everyone likes to ignore, if everything went full shit hits the fan type scenario and we get dragged into any form of real war this country literally does not have the manufacturing capabilities to produce any noteable quantity of armour or anything like that. Our entire industry is held up by chinese steel plants. They have crucibles the size of houses and the places are so fucking big the buildings have no roads between them because they need trains instead. Chinese steel plant footage is some of the most surreal shit you will ever see if you watch someone just walking around it. It's not even one of those things where we are remotely close either, if china ends up in a civil war it would basically completely halt all construction in this country, pretty fucking retarded coming from the people that first created these giant steel plants. One of those fun facts that everyone likes to ignore and not worry about, just like how the entire infrastructure of the country is out in the open and even a small group of coordinated terrorists could completely cripple the entire countries access to water and electricity because all of that infrastructure is out in the open and completely undefended.

It's not something you can wake up to I have concluded. It's just something you fundamentally can accept, or something you cannot. I grew up in similar circles, but I knew the future of the country as soon as I had access to the internet. I am talking ten years old, and this was years ago. Long before the problem was so obvious, and in your face on every major platform, that you would have to have some serious mental defect not to see. In fact these social media platforms did not exist in any format. Essentially just my own lived experience, basic human group psychology a child could understand, and statistics that I extrapolated a few decades into the future.

For many years I have tried my best to understand why they can't see what is inevitable. My only good guess really is just some weird guilt. They refuse to accept that human beings aren't a blank slate that cannot be shoe horned wherever, and they would rather sacrifice everything than admit it. It's important to say that they are generally not 'good people' though. Which is probably why their own mental comfort blanket is more important than the entire country not falling into Gomorrah.

In fact I loathe any white cunt in 2025 who finally are brave enough to admit we have a problem, especially the older ones. Only when their delusions have truly become unsustainable, and the problem unsolvable, do they whisper to each other about maybe the current situation is not ideal. It would almost all be worth it if they get utterly brutalised.
