A heated row has broken out over a move by Britain's largest bakery chain to launch a vegan sausage roll.

The pastry, which is filled with a meat substitute and encased in 96 pastry layers, is available in 950 Greggs stores across the country.

It was promised after 20,000 people signed a petition calling for the snack to be launched to accommodate plant-based diet eaters.

But the vegan sausage roll's launch has been greeted by a mixed reaction: Some consumers welcomed it, while others voiced their objections.

Cook and food poverty campaigner Jack Monroe declared she was "frantically googling to see what time my nearest opens tomorrow morning because I will be outside".

While TV writer Brydie Lee-Kennedy called herself "very pro the Greggs vegan sausage roll because anything that wrenches veganism back from the 'clean eating' wellness folk is a good thing".

One Twitter user wrote that finding vegan sausage rolls missing from a store in Corby had "ruined my morning".

Another said: "My son is allergic to dairy products which means I can't really go to Greggs when he's with me. Now I can. Thank you vegans."

TV presenter Piers Morgan led the charge of those outraged by the new roll.

"Nobody was waiting for a vegan bloody sausage, you PC-ravaged clowns," he wrote on Twitter.

Mr Morgan later complained at receiving "howling abuse from vegans", adding: "I get it, you're all hangry. I would be too if I only ate plants and gruel."

Another Twitter user said: "I really struggle to believe that 20,000 vegans are that desperate to eat in a Greggs."

"You don't paint a mustach (sic) on the Mona Lisa and you don't mess with the perfect sausage roll," one quipped.

Journalist Nooruddean Choudry suggested Greggs introduce a halal steak bake to "crank the fume levels right up to 11".

The bakery chain told concerned customers that "change is good" and that there would "always be a classic sausage roll".

It comes on the same day McDonald's launched its first vegetarian "Happy Meal", designed for children.

The new dish comes with a "veggie wrap", instead of the usual chicken or beef option.

It should be noted that Piers Morgan and Greggs share the same PR firm, so I'm thinking this is some serious faux outrage and South Park KKK gambiting here.

Will do the big news dump after dinner (been an absolute mad day here) but who wants to hear about a Welsh Labour nonce?

Tories get caught being massive, grab ass homos and Labour ALWAYS gets caught trying to nonce kids. Same people who say they want to protect your children by the way.

The only way you would get me supporting the online harms bill is if a part of it is they make every single MP's private messages on every account they own public and actively streamed on a jumbotron in the city centre of every metropolitan city.

Imagine my shock @Kier Starmer - it's as if they can't do self reflection.

Apparently ofcom don’t want anyone in the uk to see the farms. Good job we’re all in Sweden right ……..

Wonder if any of them have any personal beef with the forum.
They just don't like anybody to have an opinion other than theirs.

I think a chap from Austria once had the same issue...

Going to see if they have ties to Antifa or Bristol 'Lefty' Groups as Bristol is the UK's version of Portland.

I wonder if they read the forum or if they're getting mass reports from trannies trying to mess with the farms
Maybe the former but also doubtless the latter, just off the top of my head, there are at least four living breathing terminally unemployed welfare recipients with threads and an axe to grind, you can bet anything they'll be being good little noise makers.

Posted by Active Patriot (one of the guys, along with truthhurts101 who go around filming the migrant hotels) even the migrants are saying the hotels are full of terrorists now. Imagine being a genuine refugee victim of some Islamist shit hole and you end up in a hotel full of them.

we're going to see loads of paedos and terrors suspects who were being tracked just disappear off the grid.
As intended.

I've been hoarding movies and TV shows for years now because I feared something big was going to happen, but I had no idea it'd be this.
A bit off topic, but been collecting movies for a while. Mostly DVDs. I really should look into piracy as an option for things other than anime. I haven't gone super in depth on it, just asking people in RL mostly, and their information is a decade old. I don't know, maybe "just get Popcorn Time" is still relevant.

Anyway, when it comes to movies, I highly recommend hanging around CEX. Especially if a big one is local. It's not guaranteed to have what you want. But fuck, at £1 per movie, occationally £2, you can build a vast collection very cheap. It's also fun to just browse as you never know what you'll find. Only issue is blu rays are usually about £2 below RRP so aren't really worth it.

They're either extremely stupid or supremely arrogant. Jo Cox was killed when people were far less awake to what is going on. Now, we all know, because it's being discussed in the mainstream media, how much money we're giving them in benefits, how few work or integrate, how many are coming here, how we are letting them roam in communities, raping women, to name a few of these issues.
Imagine if you will an instance in which a bunch of foreigners rape some girls and the entire island flips out on the elites who cozied up to the foreigners. So the angry locals burn down London and other occupied settlements in retribution. I am of course referring to the romans.

Anyways some memes I made:

Interesting to note that the Daily Fail isn't allowing any comments on their headline article about the dirty Muzzie from Rotherham who tried to grab a police officers gun, and booted another in the face.

They usually lift the comment restrictions once a trial is done.

I assume we will see absolutely nothing about the inevitable rioting which will ensue in Rotherham because of this.
