https://news.sky.com/story/row-over-new-greggs-vegan-sausage-rolls-heats-up-11597679 (https://archive.ph/5Ba6o)

A heated row has broken out over a move by Britain's largest bakery chain to launch a vegan sausage roll.

The pastry, which is filled with a meat substitute and encased in 96 pastry layers, is available in 950 Greggs stores across the country.

It was promised after 20,000 people signed a petition calling for the snack to be launched to accommodate plant-based diet eaters.

But the vegan sausage roll's launch has been greeted by a mixed reaction: Some consumers welcomed it, while others voiced their objections.

Cook and food poverty campaigner Jack Monroe declared she was "frantically googling to see what time my nearest opens tomorrow morning because I will be outside".

While TV writer Brydie Lee-Kennedy called herself "very pro the Greggs vegan sausage roll because anything that wrenches veganism back from the 'clean eating' wellness folk is a good thing".

One Twitter user wrote that finding vegan sausage rolls missing from a store in Corby had "ruined my morning".

Another said: "My son is allergic to dairy products which means I can't really go to Greggs when he's with me. Now I can. Thank you vegans."

TV presenter Piers Morgan led the charge of those outraged by the new roll.

"Nobody was waiting for a vegan bloody sausage, you PC-ravaged clowns," he wrote on Twitter.

Mr Morgan later complained at receiving "howling abuse from vegans", adding: "I get it, you're all hangry. I would be too if I only ate plants and gruel."

Another Twitter user said: "I really struggle to believe that 20,000 vegans are that desperate to eat in a Greggs."

"You don't paint a mustach (sic) on the Mona Lisa and you don't mess with the perfect sausage roll," one quipped.

Journalist Nooruddean Choudry suggested Greggs introduce a halal steak bake to "crank the fume levels right up to 11".

The bakery chain told concerned customers that "change is good" and that there would "always be a classic sausage roll".

It comes on the same day McDonald's launched its first vegetarian "Happy Meal", designed for children.

The new dish comes with a "veggie wrap", instead of the usual chicken or beef option.

It should be noted that Piers Morgan and Greggs share the same PR firm, so I'm thinking this is some serious faux outrage and South Park KKK gambiting here.

Ok, new fear unlocked.
I've had a few, ok, some, ok, many, different procedures that require either the conscious sedation, where you're still awake, but not aware, and can't remember anything, like for gastrointestinal investigations, etc, or full on general anaesthetic.

Due to having the redhead gene for needing increased amounts of anaesthetic, (MCR1?) easy to explain to a dentist, harmless at 5"1ish in that context, but try that with a consultant in a hospital when you're tiny. Or try telling a doctor that, actually doc, I need more pain relief, because I'm redheaded, it's not because I'm secretly lying, junkie scum, I swear.

Anyway, my point, I don't become sedated enough under conscious sedation, sometimes I wake up briefly, but mainly I just don't become, well, sedate.
It's happened enough that I have enough information from nurses to know that I become very verbally abusive, and start to fight everyone trying to perform the procedure, without any inhibition.
Either more conscious sedation works, or I wake up with an emergency anaesthetist explaining the situation for me. The female consultant who explained I was "getting a bit rude, and fighty and bitey" like I was an unruly toddler was my favourite.

Sometimes as well, coming around from a general anaesthetic, awake, but not conscious, I've been known to slap nurses and call them "hoors" as well.
Apparently, it happens with other patients, sometimes.

It doesn't happen every time I have an op, but it's horrible when it does.
The amount of money I've spent loading up nurses stations with loads of boxes of chocolates, biscuits and flowers should be enough without fear of arrest.

Goddammit.

BANGIN'.mp4
It's 2020. You're a nurse. You've just finished a 14 hour shift where you and the girls have nailed down the dance routine for Katie's TikTok for tomorrow. Your bed beckons, you're exhausted.

The moment you shut your eyes, you already know what's coming. It's that time again: 7:59pm on a Thursday. You cover your ears just in time, but you're already wide awake. Maybe it's muscle memory from the past two months of this. You thought you'd be used to it but it never gets any easier.

First, it's Helen with her Le Creuset skillet pulled right off the Aga stove top. It's always the Le Creuset.

Then, Barbara with her Tefal wok. You're sobbing now, like every Thursday night, realising that you'll be running on fumes when you get up at midnight. But you know it's not the end yet. You know what's coming: Fatima with her Tesco own-brand frying pan. It's deafening; you can even smell the chickpea dish she made last night, dried to the pan, released with each bang of her £0.50 resin spatula.

Soaked in tears, you roll over as the banging and wooing and laughing fades. Katie's TikTok will be missing one brave fighter in the morning.

This whole ID thing is funny to me. We all have National Insurance numbers for anything important.

I honestly want the Government to point out we already have an ID just to see the angry people heads spin. Bonus points if they can point out how many people dislike carrying different tickets or cards around for different services.

Just because it would be funny

Hamas and Israel have the opportunity to do the funniest thing ever if this comes to pass.
Thought it read 'run trans in Gaza'....

Well, old 'Miranda'/'Scotch Corner Sally' would know about that wouldn't he?

Seems that to be the Labour leader, you need to be a sexual deviant who wears women's panties and suck off truckers or Lords through glory-holes.

At least Maggie kept her knickers on and said she's not for turning!

Anyway, it looks as if Burnham is going to be pushed forward as (apparently) 'Burnham can beat Farage' according to some political bod/expert:

Spoiler: He won't - he might be able to save Labour from being wiped out but Farage will make mincemeat of him any day.

Good to see the Greens and Lib Dems join Reform UK in opposing the Digital ID as well.

I doubt that the plans will proceed beyond a White Paper before the Opposition and Labour rebels kill the bill. That will be another potential VONC pending for the Government.

I had a revelation while walking the miserable streets and seeing all the wogs and nogs. The IDs are being brought in for the next election and that's a stated goal. They aren't being brought in to track people exclusively, they're being brought in to help rig the election and punish Reform voters.

All of us don't want IDs, we want to be left the fuck alone and not be constantly tracked. Do you know who don't care about getting IDs and being tracked? Labour supporters. The Imam will make everyone get their ID and vote for them the same way they always have. Right wingers who oppose it? Well sorry bro, you get the ID or we freeze you out of politics.

This is an actual attack on democracy from Labour. They know their base will not care but Reform's base will fight tooth and nail to avoid an ID.

Labour can only ever win elections when the other parties are being retarded. Now that they are facing down an extinction event for the party, time to import every wog, jeet, paki, etc to stack the vote. My dad was a postman for decades and he always told me come voting season and he had to pick up the mail ins. The Muslim streets would give him dozens from singular houses alone and this would be a common pattern across every single one of them and it probably got worse from when he retired.

If Labour can't win the fair way then they will cheat or rewrite the rule book and they've done this for decades. There's a good reason they want illegals to vote and that they declared war on "nimbys", scatter shot was to place these die hard Labour voting niggers in areas that tended to vote mostly for the other parties by a small margin and just tip the scales enough to give them the seat.

If they do require this ID to vote then 100% will this be up and running before a general election and they will be more then gleeful to present this as a way to keep "election integrity" (with some small clause in their to allow none UK nationals to not need this but they can still vote). Brace yourself for smug lefty comments saying "you got what you wanted" and the like for ID to vote.

This is a fantastic point, and I think we are going to see more attempts to 'fortify democracy'. I expect in 2028 we'll see rule changes for elections which will profess to make the system fairer, but will be intended purely to stifle Reform.

I think the Right has been waking up to the realization that the left are radicals that do not care about democracy, and only wield it as a front for tyranny. I think there's a good chance Farage will be arrested on whatever charge they can levy similarly to the Democrats with Trump, and possibly even the party being banned as a last ditch effort.

However the Right needs to accelerate in this realization, needs to win, and start playing the political game that's being played by the left. Doling out punishments where possible, changing laws and actually preventing this situation from reoccurring.

Labour can only ever win elections when the other parties are being retarded.
I think this is the byproduct of characteristics of the Right and the left. I get the broad impression that in atleast English speaking places for a long time, the left as been dysfunctional but very active. They want power and they will worm their way into the institutions to get it. They want to continually play politics and they want to win.

On the other-hand I see the Right as wanting to play politics once, win for all time and be able to be left alone. Being a sleeping giant figure until the left does something to make them actually act. I think the Right needs to learn from the left, they need to stop seeing laws as restraints and as tools to be modified. They need to start worming their way into the institutions, and once in become subversive entities. They need to punish tyrants to the best of their abilities, not just rebuke tyranny.

Does Mohammed:
He does C. Gets given one by the fucking government because the people invading the country by boat are legally here as refugees and thus eligible for a digital ID.
the only Christmas lights he'll be switching on
Do you think keir has the emotional ability to even do that? He seems more like the guy that would just stick a little paper tree up in his house and that's the end of it. Probably the type of guy that spends the christmas afternoon taking all the decorations down, assuming his family put any up in the first place.
It's out.
The plan has been formerly announced. Not the actual system being created. That being said. If someone wants this what's to say that they haven't been creating the actual system behind the scenes and will simply push it out now that it's been announced.
Digital credentials will be stored directly on people’s own device - just like contactless payment cards
So digital ID is on the same level as contactless payments? One of the fucking worst cancers to infect modern society? That thing that has pushed the general public into a technocratic surveillance state? Wow. It's almost as if digital ID is the same. At least it's honest.
We all know they will give the illegals the ID card.
They're not fucking illegals. That's the problem. The hotels aren't full of illegals. They're full of legal refugees. There is no illegal immigration because the retards have decided that they are all refugees and thus legally allowed to stay here. They don't need to give illegals their own DID because there are no illegals. The second they get given an iphone paid by the taxpayer then they're here legally, they'll just preload it with the DID shit and have classes in all the hotels on how to put their fake information in to it.

Idk why people are doubting this. Sounds entirely plausible. But the answer is yes. You do need a solicitor. Do not talk to police. If you are not legally obligated to do something you do not do it. You are not required to go to the station, there is no legal duty to go to any interview. The only words you should ever say to a policeman are 'am I being arrested', 'no comment' and 'please leave my property'.
I know it's pointless, but you know what? I just kinda like signing things.
It's not even really signing things. At least change dot org gives me the ability to include a little message. This feels more like signing up for some website than it does a petition. Though it would be an absolute honeypot if people were allowed to include comments considering it ties to your name and address.
Given the sheer uproar this announcement has caused, even with all the demoralisation campaigns and "it's inevitable" sperging on the socials, I don't see this progressing far past the white paper stage.
What's after the white paper stage? I mean logically it'd be the white scissor ;) stage, then the white rock stage and really when you think about it a brick is just the evolution of a rock and I think maybe if we go to that stage and have 1.2 million white bricks then well, that'd be a white wall big enough for the whole of the gentry.
Brace yourself for smug lefty comments saying "you got what you wanted" and the like for ID to vote.
I mean I already have to fucking give them my NI, address, name, signature (that i can never fucking get to look identical anyway), my fucking email address(?????????????) and phone number every other year just to vote anyway.

so I'm assuming this is just queer stalins shit stasi doing shit queer stasi things

I've been monitoring it and it's going up at a rate of about 200 signatures every 5-10 seconds. It's not looking good Starmerbros...
It passed the 1.3m mark not long ago. But another headline on this is to point out that this is already the second most signed petition in the site's history. Currently beaten out only by last year's "Call an immediate general election". If this surpasses that then it's a valuable headline to have: Most popular petition ever.

I think there's a good chance Farage will be arrested on whatever charge they can levy similarly to the Democrats with Trump, and possibly even the party being banned as a last ditch effort.
I doubt it because Farage will play ball with the Establishment. If he is arrested, it would be the biggest reason to trust him I've ever had. And Reform will not be blocked so long as someone who plays ball is in charge of it. The "Reform party" is a private company owned by Farage. He's been importing Tory campaign staffers all year. If something happened to Farage and someone like Rupert Lowe came in and took over, then you would see some panic. Right now they don't like it but I think they feel they still have a grip on the ring in the bull's nose. By they I mean the Establishment proper. Tory party itself is probably weeping itself to sleep.

Least that's my amateur opinion. Don't read too much into it.

I thought the most signed was the "rejoin the EU" one with 6+ million? Im happy to be wrong though

Funny, but how is this even worth police time investigating or 'interviewing'? this is obviously some kind of diminished responsibility if you are under the influence of ketamine or whatever, plus people talk so much shit coming out of wisdom teeth removal, bad reactions should be part n parcel of any medical operation; it sucks for everyone involved, but its part of the job. (also a redhead so i feel you, its so hard to get drs to take you seriously on the painmeds).
Some fella in Yorkshire (archive) has also been arrested for sharing a "Fuck Hamas, Fuck Palestine, Fuck Islam, want to protest? Fuck off to a Muslim country and protest" meme on twitter. Police say that a 'hate team' had determined 'there are offences there we need to explore,' and expressed concerns about him spreading 'racial hatred'. The man allegedy has autism and tourettes (don't know if real autism or social media autism). I know we have that tracker for migrant crimes but we need a tracker for Gaystapo overreaches. 12 months for sexual assault and 31 for hassposting fyi.

Don’t forget the secret Karen Konami code “can I have your name and badge number please?”

The price of all of this alone makes it prohibitive. How the fuck can they roll out a massive integrated (and constantly supported/update) database of identification when the Treasury is empty and the country is on the verge of an IMF bailout?
