A heated row has broken out over a move by Britain's largest bakery chain to launch a vegan sausage roll.

The pastry, which is filled with a meat substitute and encased in 96 pastry layers, is available in 950 Greggs stores across the country.

It was promised after 20,000 people signed a petition calling for the snack to be launched to accommodate plant-based diet eaters.

But the vegan sausage roll's launch has been greeted by a mixed reaction: Some consumers welcomed it, while others voiced their objections.

Cook and food poverty campaigner Jack Monroe declared she was "frantically googling to see what time my nearest opens tomorrow morning because I will be outside".

While TV writer Brydie Lee-Kennedy called herself "very pro the Greggs vegan sausage roll because anything that wrenches veganism back from the 'clean eating' wellness folk is a good thing".

One Twitter user wrote that finding vegan sausage rolls missing from a store in Corby had "ruined my morning".

Another said: "My son is allergic to dairy products which means I can't really go to Greggs when he's with me. Now I can. Thank you vegans."

TV presenter Piers Morgan led the charge of those outraged by the new roll.

"Nobody was waiting for a vegan bloody sausage, you PC-ravaged clowns," he wrote on Twitter.

Mr Morgan later complained at receiving "howling abuse from vegans", adding: "I get it, you're all hangry. I would be too if I only ate plants and gruel."

Another Twitter user said: "I really struggle to believe that 20,000 vegans are that desperate to eat in a Greggs."

"You don't paint a mustach (sic) on the Mona Lisa and you don't mess with the perfect sausage roll," one quipped.

Journalist Nooruddean Choudry suggested Greggs introduce a halal steak bake to "crank the fume levels right up to 11".

The bakery chain told concerned customers that "change is good" and that there would "always be a classic sausage roll".

It comes on the same day McDonald's launched its first vegetarian "Happy Meal", designed for children.

The new dish comes with a "veggie wrap", instead of the usual chicken or beef option.

It should be noted that Piers Morgan and Greggs share the same PR firm, so I'm thinking this is some serious faux outrage and South Park KKK gambiting here.

The Mr Tumble guy is absolutely a nonce, a family member used to live near him, and everyone called him a creep.
Do not besmirch the name of Mr Tumble. It's bad enough you constantly lie about politics with your weird fanfics and pretend that you have inside sources but that man is a hero entertaining and educating new generations whilst keeping his hands to himself.

FITE ME IRL!!!!!!

Stating that the UK will be changed into a fairer society benefiting all of us, and also proving that contrary to the MSM line that Reform UK aren't a racist party, will then make people not normally engaging in politics to think 'hang on, they're not that bad and at least would be better than what we have.'
Is not being the racist party a good thing to push? As the problem of other races becomes more obvious and fuels reform. Being racist and saying yes we oppose Muslims and other foreigners would be seen as a positive.

It depends on the audience - most of us would cheer if Farage said he'd blast all Muslims into space, but there's the 'soft brains' or floating voters who might think 'OMG that's awful!'

I talk with a few of them and whilst they get the message (in part, anyway) maybe it's because of societal pressures or not wanting to fall out with family and friends that they're a bit reluctant to vote Reform UK and would rather the 'status quo' because 'nice and safe is nice and safe'.

These people live in middle class neighbourhoods away from the issues which the Government they've chosen to back creates - therefore, they can't quite see that 1 + 1 is 2 even when their societal betters are stating firmly 'no, it's 6 and that's just that.'

However, a 9/11 or 7/7 type incident in a middle class neighbourhood/town where the 'soft brains' are directly affected will make them change their minds - when it happens to them instead of three girls in a northern seaside town, then the swing will come around.

we know the normies follow whatever the mainstream narrative is despite what the feel deeper down. that's been a curse, but if we can keep dragging things to where we need them it becomes a blessing.

once the accepted narrative is chuck out the BAMEs they will be fully onboard

Living in a police state that punishes you for thinking the wrong things makes me wonder how many are scared to speak up or worry if they vote for the wrong party they will end up on a watch list.

Honestly, I’ve thought about joining Reform to chuck some money to tell the establishment to fuck off, then I wonder what will happen if some tranny is employed at whoever they sub contract for IT, leaks a members list, then Hope Not Hate and the Guardian ring my HR department ask why they’ve got a nazi working for them.

I wish I was joking.

There's that too, but the main problem generally I find is not the thought of 'a knock at the door' but blissful ignorance:

'The fire is over there, we're safe because nothing bad ever happens to us.'

Except for when the fire spreads and burns their property to the ground.

I've recently donated to them via cryptocurrency, therefore I can't be traced by the angry trannies and my bank allows for crypto payments.

You are 100% right to be concerned, and considering what HNH have put people through then discretion is vital.

Where isn't on fire now? The Great Replacement Fire Of London has spread to every corner of the country and keeps going. I feel like the places around me with any sizeable population are no go zones. I don't like being the only white person walking down a street.

You and I can see it, we know it's happening, but what I think a lot of people here don't get is that so many others aren't as 'clued up' as we are here.

The belief that 'oh things aren't so bad' is folly, we KNOW it can and will get worse - remember how the world changed overnight in 2020? They think such events are once in a lifetime and their lives for the most part are plain sailing.

Maybe they believe it because the alternative is too terrible to contemplate, and the state has brought up younger people to be soft, to be kind, to accept their place, to bend the knee, to be charitable for the most virtuous shall have the woke kingdom of heaven and all its glories.

It's only when some apply critical thinking and realise 'hang on, I'm being lied to' that things begin to change - the Overton Window has shifted further right than left for the first time since 1945 and the dawning of liberal politics and policies in the UK, and this in turn may help to shift the minds of the 'sheeple' towards what we've been saying for ages.

The reasoning behind our kindness and meekness needs to be examined - the belief that because we're Christians we will be kind, we won't answer back, we won't be violent (apart from the IRA) and as meek people we'll do as we're commanded because 'that is the right and moral thing to do'.

It will take a while for some to leave the 'all is calm' mentality behind them, and some of them never will change, but the figures for Reform UK show that slowly people are waking up to reality.

I even wonder about these migrant hotels and wtf is going on there. Invading young men should be kept in camps under guard. Our government, which is trying to replace us, is putting them in the middle of cities

Even some Lefties aren't happy about the hotels situation, as some of them aren't fit for human habitation.

Whilst some migrants have gone to nice hotels (and shouldn't have) there are stories that others have been put up in accommodation which isn't fit for purpose - mould infestations, windows that can't open, no showers/water etc.

Who owns these run down hotels? Graham King, total scumbag billionaire.

I don't want migrants here, but I also don't want those who are here to be put in an unsafe environment - when they are saying 'we'd rather go home than live in a tiny room filled with squalor, mold, even dead vermin' then the message needs to go out that if you give your money to the smugglers, you'll end up in a bigger shit hole than the one you left behind.

These universities all ban pro-ethnic British speakers from their campuses. Not even a protest. They usually will have a section in their policies about how amazing free speech is and how you can't have the pursuit of knowledge without it. And then the exclude pro-ethnic British stuff as if it is the most obvious thing in the world.

Now it is happening to the them.

Of course, when they get told off, it's 'the wrong thing'.

The Dean of Cardiff University recently said that the University 'doesn't have a God given right to exist' and I quite agree. It's a joke establishment and would be better off bulldozed - the land can then be an extension of Bute Park which is more peaceful and useful to humanity.

You know the classic argument that is given: "we need them for the economy". I realize today that there isn't anything the economy could give me that would be worth having backs and browns in my country, and certainly not handing over the whole bloody thing

The US Department of Education funds tens of millions of pounds sterling to most UK universities. If any university suddenly becomes known as Fuck Trump Polytechnic then he can cut that funding with a stroke of a pen and they have zero recourse.

It’s absolutely amazing and is forcing them
to learn to be less retarded very quickly.

Have you noticed how quickly all the pro-Hamas demonstrations have stopped everywhere outside London now they can’t sit around and plot them on campuses?

As the Nazi in Raiders of the Lost Ark said, "That time is passed". Those cunts don't call the shots any more, and frankly no one cares what they think. They can't get you sacked for supporting a party that circa 40% of the British public are going to vote for in the next GE.

I do sympathise, and I know the feeling. I work in an industry where it was heavily presumed that you didn't vote for Brexit. But whenever one of my colleagues started going off on one at work, I would always take the opportunity to gently remind them that I "like most people" had voted for Brexit. While this probably didn't endear me to certain lefty colleagues, I won't be cowed. I don't go out of my way to share my political beliefs at work, but I also won't sit there while someone presumes to speak for me.

I’m in an environment that’s full of lefties, recently unionised, and I’ve been warned they’re playing games trying to get me sacked and to watch what I say because I told the rep I’m an adult who can stand up for himself and won’t join.

I’m the type of person this would work against even though I’d walk away with a seven figure payout if HR was that retarded (spoiler: HR is usually retarded.)

You’ve kinda hit a nerve on my being quiet recently.

Are volumes of people required?
If you believe the Joe Rogan crowd and the ai/ quantum computing argument then the answer is no.

This I believe is driving the popularity of the rise of the anti migrant policy in the mainstream. The people at the top don’t need us devalued or replaced because they believe they won't need us at all. This reflects in the abortion/assisted dying bills and the massive investment in ai (also see trumps ban on blocking/limiting ai for the next 10 years).

My opinion is ai hallucinations reflects it’s basic faults and it is nothing more than a change in database ease of access that reflects the change in programming from cassette basic to JavaScript. It’s biggest difference is no more Boolean in your google searches.
This will be a generational mistake on the scale of the uncle that still has a 3D tv.

Thanks for coming to my ted talk, there will be no refunds.

Then, whilst I hope you don't lose your job, I hope that you take them to the cleaners if you do.

There used to be an insufferable little twat on X who worked for East Midlands Train (EMT) who was always running his mouth of about how the Union will protect him, until one day he called somebody a 'fucking queer weirdo'.

Now he's unemployed, lost his job, home, wife and kids.

Considering how he used to laugh at the misfortune of others and that foreign drivers would never do his job, it's very apt that the guy now doing his roster out of Nottingham station has been seconded from Spain (the guy was an ex-pat who drove for Connex and Southeastern).

The public vote has changed but the leftist power hasn't been removed yet. They can find ways to mess with you or report you to the police. There's the age old trick of a false assault accusation if they really want to mess with you. You have to be careful until the true believers have been cleared from small power positions.
