I caught that episode the other night, definitely one of the worst. The particular character who gets Hot Cosby'd has telepathic abilities which cause her to form an instant bond with the fetus and she declares "I'M KEEPING MY BABY". The general moral of the episode is that women who get abortions are sluts, even if they were raped. It's a strange sentiment for Star Trek, but that episode aired at the height of a different, religion-based moral panic.

It's also a sentiment that Wu likely shares, as he can't get an abortion himself, and anything that he can't have doesn't have a right to exist in his world. He probably would love to get an abortion, he's not that far away from Mr. Garrison. I'd bet money that if abortion becomes the victim donation fund-driver du jour, he'd be tweeting-then-deleting epic yarns about how he totally had a real abortion in college and A MAN made him get it.

Don't forget they croak the baby before the episode is over. But it's no big deal, even for Troi the supposed highly sensitive empath.

All around it was a creepy episode.

In fact, fuck, there's a Feminist Frequency about it. Problematic as fuck!

Oh, so it's actually about Zoe Quinn? Damn. That makes it even better!

It always cracks me up how people like Brianna Wu, Zoe Quinn, and Anita Sarkeesian are always talking about female solidarity and sticking together... until something big like this comes up. Then they're too busy trying to shove each other under the bus to remember anything about feminism.

I remember that, very early into GamerGate, Zoe, Anita, and Brianna actually had a Twitter slapfight (or more like a passive-aggressive and thinly-veiled series of tweets) about who was the most oppressed and victimized. I got a kick out of imagining the whole scenario as the start of the Trojan War, except instead of the Golden Apple of Discord saying "to the fairest" it said "to the most oppressed."

Also since that back and forth Bri has barely mentioned Zoe, which is interesting because GG was pretty much entirely about Zoe until Brianna made it her business to make it about herself.

Twitter addict Bri has only mentioned Zoe about in about 12 tweets this year, not very often considering how many tweets she makes an hour and how many are about GG which Zoe is a pretty important part of.
Worth noting most of these tweets were replies to people mentioning both of them about stuff like deleting wikipedia pages.

Zoe hasn't Tweeted at Bri since March.

Think it's safe to say these two are not on the best of terms.

What a joke. If you want to see how much solidarity they really have, tell them that there's a big conference on harassment/women in video games/whatever but there's only one spot for a guest speaker. The last words out of the mouths would be "No, you should do it!"

They just asked her if she was in fact brianna wu, since she was not asian and appears to be a man in disguise.
So it looks like they're flying to Minnesota, so this means they're in fact not on the road all month, in three weeks they're traveling probably 4 days. I wouldn't really blow most people up like this, but with wu everything is an exaggeration.

Also a great thing to carry through airports is a fucking hot water heater and 150 instant coffees.. I'm sure that will pay off in spades.
