We all know the real reason Brianna's face looks so off.

It's the part of the woman she paid the least attention to when observing other women.
 
I think since she already scored Frank, the only improvements we'll see will be in the photoshops she gets. So she can post dem nice sexy pics to her followers.

Wu also apparently refuses makeup when going on television, which looks absolutely atrocious. Male or female, nobody should do that. If everyone around you has pancake on and you don't, you look like a corpse.

Nixon felt the same way, and he looked like shit on TV compared to John Kennedy.

And if Wu is refusing because it might seem sexist, that's idiotic, because the lighting and focus of the studio equipment practically requires you don makeup so your face doesn't look distorted and pale on camera, no matter who you might be.

I think it's one part feminism brownie points, one part ego, and one part ignorance on make-up. Early in her transition, Brianna had the idea that she was already so feminine that she could hook up with guys on a whim with them being none the wiser. Whether or not this is true is debatable but the important thing is that Brianna believed it to be true. Her ego is such that she probably still believes she doesn't need make-up to look more convincing and, hey, nothing earns radfem points quicker than rejecting the use of make-up! However, I also think she just isn't very skilled at actually putting the stuff on too. Her Goth Wu pics are the only ones I can think of where she even bothered with it and she looked ridiculous.

Production makeup is basically unrelated to real life makeup other than smushing a bunch of crap on your face. From my limited experience there's people there at the studios to do a basic foundation and stuff so you don't reflect lights and other technical stuff.

It's not like you just whip out some Cover Girl before you're on.
 
Yeap not surprising, you accomplish another thing by buying your way in with someone elses money. Also you have no work to show... so it makes sense they didn't ask

Has Wu ever even been on "TV" TV? I thought most footage of her was done over skype and smartphone cameras at lectures.

I don't even think lack of makeup would matter as much if she would just brush her damned hair once in a while. Every interview I've seen of her she looks like she just got off a jet ski.

She's not showing up to Airplay (a GamerGate debate, more info can be found here), she's trying to belittle it:


Per usual, Brianna is being true to her deceitful self. She's trying to imply that since everyone can apply to SPJ, there's nothing significant about a member of the organization organizing a GamerGate debate. What she doesn't mention is that Lynn Walsh - current Secretary-Treasurer of the SPJ, one of the dozen of journalists who participated in revising the SPJ's ethical code who may possibly become the SPJ's next president as well - will also be participating in the debate. I'd like to see Wu - a failed game dev, a disgraced former mod at two forums (susans.org and r/GamerGhazi), a former ambien addict who managed to incur a restraining order from her University's newspaper - become as accomplished as Walsh. My take? Brianna is belittling the event that is currently most anticipated by GG supporters as a way of trying to win back the good will of anti-GG after her demodding at GamerGhazi.
