I kind of get the sense she enjoys starting shit. Looking at the way she behaved in the trans group and her stupid tweets, she seems to have a pattern of intentionally antagonizing people.
 
I'm sure Anita would do a better job just because she's not really into all that SJW shit like Wu.

Anita is nothing more then a con artist and the second she get more money she would jump ship and leave MacIntosh to free fall but Wu....oh boy...he's so committed to SJWhood that he'd drive Reddit into the ground within a week.

Just imagine the exodus; insane tranny feminist now CEO of Reddit, promises to check privelidge and ensure proper diversity of community members by any means nessary.

He also didn't attempt it until he was like 33 or something, most passable ones start before age 21 or so, the longer they wait the harder it is. Seeing as how male development doesn't really end until the late 20s, Wu had basically fully grown into masculinity and THEN attempted transition, the only way to make that work is to have very good genes or a very good surgeon, looks like Wu had neither.

Ideally a tranny would want to do it before even graduating high school, and at the latest not push too far into their 20s. Wu was a fully grown adult man when he started, so the result is basically abstract art, a fucking walking Salvador Dali painting.
 
I'm not a fan of Reddit, but christ a three minute google explanation tells you everything you need to know. Pao wasn't part of Reddit's community. She didn't understand it, she was hired for two reasons, to balance out the outside world's view of what Reddit is, and to put it on the path to being a money making company.

She maybe did the first bit, slightly. Not by actually doing anything other than existing. (EDIT: I'd say she failed at this too on second thought. She succeeded in highlighting the difference between the user base and her brand of restricted fair play heavily moderated non-free speech. Which there isn't particularly anything wrong on this for a private website, it just isn't what Reddit was generally known for on the whole.)

She failed miserably at the second bit while creating animosity between the users and the corporate side.

None of that had to do with being a woman. It had everything to do with being inexperienced and a terrible fit for the user base. Reddit is essentially run by free labor mods, who suddenly didn't understand or trust the person with the most power on the site.

She was as bad a choice for Reddit as that dude they hired for Twitter who never used Twitter.

It also isn't isolated enough. Case studies are typically about singular events, people, and constructs that are too unique to replicate.

I think it was from somewhere on that site he was a mod on (Susan's Place?). He said something to the effect of "I guess women really do like a boy who chops their own dick off", presumably in reference to himself.

I'm not the only one who gets a weird feeling from that quote, am I? It's the "boy" and "chops... dick off" parts.

Before anyone asks, I don't recall where in the thread specifically the quote was posted.

Off-topic, but if that Sampat person won't encourage girls and women to become part of the industry until it becomes more accepting of women, how exactly will the industry become more accepting of women? I mean, if you want to change things on a "fundemental level", a large part of that level resides in the industry, being among the game makers.

Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but if I'm not, I'm glad Sampat wasn't around during the Civil Rights Movement. She may have encouraged black people to boycott white establishments in order to protest Jim Crow laws.
