I think she's toying with the idea of it. Right now, it's too risky - she's set herself up as a feminist leader, and I think the truth getting out would be too much of a risk. Not only would the more middle-of-the-road people call her out for lying, and basically having a male upbringing, but the radfems would declare her a rapist intruding on female space or something. And her status as white, wealthy, and post-op means that it's unlikely she'd get too far with the tucutes. I think she's hinting at the possibility, though, to see if she can muscle into another SJW issue.
Now, what I have to wonder about is what would happen if someone called her out on speaking for trans people despite being cis...
