Didn't take long for her to link to her Patreon...I find hilarious how the only proof of "unpaid work" I see is the stupid effort you put in your twitter account.

He can take his "unpaid work" and jam it right into his ass. You want to talk about "unpaid work"? Come ask me sometime about teaching in a high poverty urban school district and the men and women who devoted hundreds of unpaid hours to support their poor and minority students just that little bit more. Fuck off, John.

I have to work overtime at a dangerous job just to afford rent in a safe neighborhood. I haven't seen a movie in theaters since Annabelle was out, and she saw the same movie twice LAST WEEK just to convince herself to like it more.

I'm actually quite sympathetic to trans people, because that's not a struggle I would wish on anyone but seriously, fuck you, Brianna.

OK, so before I get into today's Brianna Wu Article update, I want to point out something I noticed. Wu claims to have been playing video games since she got an NES in 1985. She claims a complete lack of playable female characters, but Samus Aran was playable in 1986, and Wu never fucking mentions her. Similarly, yes, Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong, Legend of Zelda, and Kung Fu all had a woman you had to rescue, fact is, this was when the NES first got started! Half of the NES's early library was fucking arcade ports - Mario Bros and Duck Hunt, Joust and fucking Donkey Kong Junior, Balloon Fight and Ice Climbers (another game with a playable female).
Wu probably liked that one game where a transgender US general had to "rescue" a small asian railroad worker tied to a pole...

What costs? Last I heard Twitter doesn't charge you to bitch about nothing all day, no matter how many tweets you make.

She also mentioned that she got the NES in 1985. The NES didn't become widely available in the US for quite a while, and didn't hit its initial stride until about three months later - in 1986.

If you look into almost anything Wu says or does, it will be filled with lies.

My guess is when he references this things, trying to act like a retro gamer, he is just going to Wikipedia and coming back with the earliest date he reads. If you challenged him on the NES, he would just lie and say his parents were personally given one of the first ones to his US soil because of blahlbah connections my dad knows Mr. Nintendo!!!!

Hey! Be nice now.

Those motorcycles, iPads and iWatches don't buy themselves you know!

Show your support of this downtrodden rich white guy buy helping him to buy the nessities of life!

Nevermind that his parents paid for all of his college and randomly gave him 200,000 dollars for free when he was 20 years old. I suspect that is not the only time he parents dropped large lump sums of cash on him, either. He was probably the kind of kid growing up who got 10,000 dollars as birthday money and shit.

He is notorious for squandering every gift and opportunity he has ever received. I think even ADF would have managed 200,000 dollars better than John did.

One wonders where she got the money to buy her husband a goddamned drone as a present.

Drones aren't that expensive if you don't need them to fire missiles at your enemies from above foreign countries. What she got is basically a glorified remote controlled chopper, a toy.

More or less. My AR 2.0 was only about $250. If it weren't so impossible to go through Brianna's Twitter history, I'd like to see what Frank got but I'm fairly certain it wasn't a DJI (which do run in the thousands).

As for how she paid for it? Same way as she finances her "advocacy" work - hipster welfare.

That guy is such a faggot you can tell by looking at him. Also somehow I think that this chick actually knows the deal. I really feel like she's deliberate using that word defray.
Brianna already pretty much admitted she makes money off this, where was the one post that the jist was it's ok to make money doing work for good causes or feminism or something. I'm not saying it's not either.

I don't begrudge anyone the fruits of their labors, but as a guy who more or less lives paycheck to paycheck, it's sickening to see someone tweet all these pictures of new toys with one hand and hold out the other for donations.

Oh well, it could be worse. Imagine if Wu decided to cling onto the #freethenipple movement.

I'm so sorry for putting that thought in your head.

You work for a living, my friend. Wu is a tick on the ass of society. Fancy toys are all well and good, but you have pride, and from the way things are going, Wu is unlikely to ever reclaim hers.

Wu was adopted by two extremely wealthy people as a young kid, as the story supposedly goes. I still don't know for sure if this is true or if he was just born to them, but it is irrelevant. The point is he was spoiled at the start of life and the concept of working or struggling was never something he was going to have to deal with.

He never paid a dime for college, in fact I do not think he ever actually worked in any traditional sense at any point in his life. When he was around 20, his parents gave him 200k and he tried to start a software company with it and failed horribly, not only becoming a business failure in the process, but he blew ALL of that money. He once tweeted he was grateful for the 'experience' that episode taught him, not realizing that to everyone else he just looked like a fucking moron who had no concept of the value of money.

Through it all, one could argue Wu might be a victim of Affluenza, as his parents threw money at him to solve every problem in his life, so he never learned anything about the real world. A very small part of me feels slightly bad for Wu, because he might have turned out as a decent person if he wasn't exposed to so much money and luxury at a young age. Regardless, he has carried a massive entitlement attitude into adulthood, as he now expects all of his business plans to be funded for free by other people without the concept of paying back on said money, which is observable through his abuse of social media pandhandling for just about everything, despite still being the child of a rich family and probably having loads of that family's money tucked away to ensure he will never have to work.

And look where it got him. He is a fucking trainwreck. When people like that flash their money, all you can do is laugh, because frankly that is the only thing Wu has, he is a complete and unmitigated disaster of a person otherwise.

John has never had pride. He has never worked for anything in his life.

The thing that rubs me the wrong way about Brianna's Patreon e-begging is that he and Frank could easily live very comfortably on Frank's salary alone if they just started managing their money responsibly. But since they blew all of Brianna's trust fund money and Frank's savings on the infinite money pit that is R60 and keep spending much of Frank's current income on expensive luxury goods like motorcycles and the newest Apple vanity products, now they are living off the generosity of Frank's relatives and duping dumb SJWs out of their cash despite the fact that Frank probably makes six figures (or at least close to six figures) a year.

4. Great to see you complain about Animu now, Wu

Exposing my power level. I was at Anime Expo last weekend and the reason I would imagine why Atlus removed Rise was because they weren't offering free shirts that time. Keeping Rise in the picture would be pointless. Of course, there was a Rise cosplayer working at the booth so the "problem" is still there. Speaking of which, I don't think Wu saw the whole badge because if she did she would have noticed an animu girl in a leotard.

EDIT: Posting picture of the E3 badge for reference.

I noticed this during research for the Wu Article, but Wu will outright claim that even in the 1980s when Video Games were young, they were inherently sexist, inherently problematic, inherently misogynistic. It's a load of fucking bullshit. Not only does Samus give that the fucking finger, but this was when your average game couldn't fit a fucking plot. Wu makes the argument that games have always been a men-only hobby, but that's a load of shit and anyone who grew up in my generation (which is also Wu's generation) knows it's a load of shit. I grew up playing vidya with my female cousins, with the girl down the street, with the kids in my afterschool program.

You all fucking know it, and you've all seen it in your own lives, whether its your gran playing Tetris or your Sister enjoying Pokemon.

Anyway. I did a massive battery of updates to the Wu Article and its corresponding Sub-Article. Check 'em out when you get a chance.
Heh, a lot of my hand me down games were from my cousins, who were mostly female. I remember how they were so hooked on Street Fighter that they ignored everything else.
