What little respect I had left for Brianna is gone. Now, I'm going to say this not because I'm transphobic, but because I specificaly want to hurt Brianna. Bree? You are a fucking man posing as a woman while hiding behind a facade of dysmorphia. Please kill yourself, and your shitty game along with it. You have easily put the feminist movement tens of years behind on your actions alone.

Whoa there, that's going too far. you have to work on channelling that anger into something positive. do you want to know how I do it? i play sports. Baseball and Bowling are my favorites to play. and I channel my anger by pretending Brianna Wu is the baseball when I'm batting, and that she's the ten pins when I'm bowling. I know this is off-topic, but I don't want you doing anything stupid. If you play sports, do what I do.

Given that Brianna Wu is a compulsive liar, I'd wager that with the circa-1999 graphics, Revolution 60 never had "jiggle physics" to begin with.

Briana Wu is an expert on not including things in her game. Originally it was fun but she had to take all of that out because it was problematic.

Edit: All her team did was the programming and stuff, which was minimal. The real meat of the game is all the stuff they didn't include, and that was all Briana's doing.

What the hell is the obsession so-called SJWs have with that word? I'm entirely sure it doesn't mean what they think it means.

To be fair, I sorta get it.

Many movies and books we consider art aren't trying to be 'fun'. They're dark and distressing, in some ways, unpleasant, and make you think. Memento is one such movie: although it is enjoyable, there are many dark themes in it which may not be enjoyable, and it does not have a happy ending.

The thing is, neither a book nor a movie are interactive. A movie requires zero investment to be seen throughout, very often. A book requires effort, but most of it is mental, it doesn't exhaust you unless you spend hours to read.

An extensive game requires a lot more effort than either of these, and as such, it's easier to feel exhausted and annoyed, I think. Because of that, fun IS required - without fun, you have less interest in continuing. It matters on everything, of course, but as said above, movies and books don't need as much 'fun' to keep you interested, they just need to not suck.

Any thoughts?

In reference to those types of movies and books, I tend to have more fun with them than those that you usually see labeled as "fun."

A game that manages these themes in a compelling way that makes use of the environment and ambience is one that I would consider "fun." Like the Amnesia series or The Evil Within. These sort of games are the epitome of fun for me.

That's not what these guys think when they mean 'fun'. They think 'Summer Blockbuster' or 'Girly Romantic Comedy' or 'Turn-Off-Your-Brain Seltzer-Friederberg Movie'.

You know, something with jokes or lots of explosions or 'COOL'.

Dude it makes me want to pull my hair out when I hear them use it... it's just so fucking snotty. It reminds me of something an inner party member would use to threaten someone...."Word is Milton, you have some ideas that are.....Problematic? So are you problematic Milton? Because I'm here to help you... It's my job to find solutions for problems"

Hahah the more I think about this the funnier it is, at the end of the book Wu and milton are in room 101 and wu is slapping milton in the face with his cock. "It's not enough to just say I'm actually a woman Milton, you're still being problematic. You have to see it and believe it. Now look at my penis and tell me my gender pronouns."........

....I love Revolution 60.

A professor of Literature once told to our class this: In Search Of Lost Time is the most boring novel he has read in his life but he loves it... But is boring as hell and everyone should read once in their life times but when they feel like it because is truly boring as hell.

I don't exactly like that something is good or bad because "fun" or "boring". Whatever you think games are art or not, fun is still quite subjective metric as certain games can be boring to other people.

Not to defend Wu, because Revolution 60 is probably both boring and badly written in any case, if you tube is to believe.

I think Yahtzee put it best in his review of Spec Ops: The Line.
To me, the key difference between this and games like Revolution 60, Depression Quest and Pregnancy is subtlety. While Spec Ops has lots of gritty, in-your-face moments, for every one of those the game messes with you in several little ways (e.g. Walker's behavior as you fight enemies slowly changes from professional at the beginning to downright unnerving by the end). Meanwhile, the SJW lineup I mentioned earlier are about a subtle as a brick to the face.

Our very own Smutly has sacrificed his time, money and brain cells to bring us a full review of the game:

So apparently, Wu's Twitter is nominated for a Shorty Award.

Wu retweets a Destructoid article

Emblematic of another reason why the SJW brand of HARDCORE REALISM (read: tell, don't show) really doesn't work in games: It's super easy to make smartass comments to everything the game tells you.

"You are depressed."

"...No, I'm not."

Reminscent of my initial review of it during the old Gamergate thread, where I responded to the fact that my character chose some do-nothing option like playing bejeweled rather than "man up and soldier on, asshole" and I explained that this was proof that my protagonist had zero taste and deserved to be put to death immediately.

TB is Has dropped any pretense of dealing with her/his/xir? stupid ass.
I really want him to cover Rev60 and watch Wu obliterate her pathetic career and any chance to audiance credibility trying to take him down.

TB can be a total jerk but he was justified to call out Wu of her shenigans.. TB did a Otherkin-joke and Wu equipared with Transphobia (dafuck?). So much for not trivializing Trans issues...

She's holding a grudge because he wouldn't take a press copy of her game in July.
Huh? Wu is doing nothing but asking for a Garry's Incident incident on steroids. Forgive me if I'm jumping the gun and being petulent, but I want her pathetic little world to be destroyed.
