This may just be me, but it feels like more and more people are growing tired of Brianna's bullshit. Oh, sure, plenty of people are still more than happy to kiss her ass, but now she's wearing out the goodwill of the people who have been tolerating her up to this point. Literally all she's done for months is point fingers and whine on her Twitter; her status as an "indie game dev" is becoming somewhat dubious considering that it doesn't seem like she spends much time developing her games at all.

Like I said earlier, Brianna has absolutely no staying power whatsoever. Her one and only schtick is being a loud, shrill critic/victim of GamerGate. Sooner rather than later, the attention she's getting will dry up. The internet does not suffer from a lack of victims and eventually someone more interesting than Brianna will come along. I think that's why she keeps pulling publicity stunts (despite saying numerous times that she's done with GamerGate), she's getting desperate.

Well according to that employee profile thing, it doesn't seem like Wu even does any work outside of credit hog and professional victim. It seems she's just as much of a developer as Quinn or Sarkeesian. :P

Hence the continued GG tweets. Once GG is over Wu goes back to be some shitty game dev who no one cares about. This burst of limelight is probaly the highlight of his life.

Apparently on 8Chan, there is this image of Wu someone used with Scary Stories. Found it on the GamerGate board where they had a thread on the allegations of Frank Wu's domestic violence.

He seems to have responded in the comments, trying to call her a liar. Posts a picture of him and her saying that she was taller than him and failing at "perspective" in the process.

Has it been verified that this is indeed Frank? I tend to think the comment is authentic as I don't see why an impostor would write something like that, but I would still like to see it being confirmed for certain that Frank is the author. Anyway, there was one part of the comment that I found interesting:

Frank Wu said:
Nonetheless, clearly your friends will believe you and my friends will believe me. This is the way these things go. The truth probably lies in the middle somewhere. Neither of us is the same person we were when we were together.

Peace to your family and good luck with your writing.

Another commenter calling himself 'The Deuce' pointed out just how retarded that statement is:

The Deuce said:
b>The truth probably lies in the middle somewhere.</b>

So you're outright telling us that you didn't tell the truth now? That's quite a backpedal!

<b>Neither of us is the same person we were when we were together.

Uh huh, right. Let's compare this with what you wrote the other day: <i>"But now it seems like she’s edging back into the sci-fi community, writing, going to conventions again. If she shows up at a convention I’m at, I will be compelled to call the police or inform the convention security of her insane and violently unpredictable behavior. She is dangerous.

I’ll warn you now. If you see her, run far far away. She is fucking evil incarnate."</i>

So, in two days you go from essentially "Her return to sci-fi needs to be destroyed and don't give her the time of day because she's pure dangerous evil" to basically "Hey, we're all good people here! Hope you have a good career!"

Wow, Frank is backpedalling so hard he might end up turning back time à la Superman 2.

I'm not really sure what to believe, but I'm leaning on the side of the ex-wife. If she really did move across the country, change her phone number, and cut off her ties with her friends to get away from Frank, then that tells me that she wasn't the one who was abusive.

Frank Wu is awesome, and Gamergate should leave him out of This
I woke up this morning to my husband telling me, “I guess it’s my turn to get harassed on Twitter.” Sighing, I opened up my Macbook - and saw that Frank’s ex-wife wrote a blog post attacking him, which Gamergate quickly fed to their trolls - whipping them into a frenzy.

I’m not going to comment on any of the blog post in question. But, I do want to tell you a bit about the man I married.

My husband is simply the most amazing, supporting partner any woman could have. I want to be really clear here - Revolution 60 would not have shipped without Frank. To be perfectly clear, my career would not exist without Frank.

Here are a few Frank Wu stories.

Frank has a PhD in bacterial genetics, and works for a large pharmaceutical conglomerate writing drug patents for them. He’s an expert in this field, and honestly could be using the money he makes to pursue his own dreams - like building his own Batmobile, something he’s been planning his whole life.

But no. Despite not being a gamer, when I told him he wanted to launch Giant Spacekat - he stood behind me.
We poured the majority of our family’s money into shipping R60 for 4 years. To be blunt, we were desperately poor. Frank happily made giant pots of red beans and rice at the beginning of each week, which we’d eat three meals a day. I doubt I will ever be able to enjoy this meal again.
Early on in shipping R60, we had to go separate ways with our modeler. Without enough budget to hire someone to build geometry, I asked Frank if he’d be willing to try his hand at it.

Frank doesn’t understand computers well enough to update his iPhone, but he threw himself headfirst into this task. Working on a slow, 2011 Macbook Pro, he created practically every piece of geometry in Revolution 60. For years, Frank would work 40 hours at his day job, then work all evening and all weekend on building geometry.

Often when men comment on the game, they note the spaceship design - which was all Frank’s work. He did this unheralded for four years.
When I met Frank, he was a minor celebrity in sci-fi. He’s won four Hugo awards for science fiction art - and has done book covers for people like Corey Doctorow. But, for the last four years, he’s put all that on hold as I’ve built my career in the game industry. We’ve gone to GDC, not Worldcon. And the whole time, Frank has stood by me because he believes in what I do.

Frank and I were engaged three weeks after meeting. We were married 11 months later. The first day I met him, he asked me if I wanted to change the world, and I said yes. He says he married me because he wants to make the world a better place too.
Frank Wu is simply the most amazing husband any woman could ask for.

To the best of my knowledge, Frank has never written anything about any game for a publication. He has nothing to do with the pretext of ethics in gaming journalism. Even Gamergaters have reluctantly commented, “You know - he’s married to Brianna, but this guy seems pretty cool.”
Attack me all you want. But I’ll thank you to leave my spouse out of it.

I thought you only drink Soylent Green?
And desperately poor? You have the money to hire a team of women to do the dirty codemonkey work!

I'm not familiar with the Sci-fi circle so could someone check this please? What I'm sure, however, is that the "Snake Woman" thing he drew for Brianna is not going to win any awards.

His Hugos are all for fan art, but he is legitimately a minor celebrity in sci-fi. As in, really stretching the definition of celebrity but she did qualify it with minor so it's not a completely unreasonable claim.

Mr. Wu, if you didn't want drama you shouldn't have publicly posted a tirade against your ex (especially without anything to back it up).

A 2011 MacBook isn't all that bad, I use a low end 2010 and can still do amazing stuff if I had talent, and frankly 2011 could easily make and run everything Wreckalution 60 shows.

I'm still at a loss at why Frank went from a real woman (as in, born that way) to one with XY chromosomes. If Brianna Wu was his first wife, then I'd chalk it up to a matter of taste, but...why? Why her?

Why does she feel the need to mention she owns a Macbook all the damn time?

Mr. Wu, if you didn't want drama you shouldn't have publicly posted a tirade against your ex (especially without anything to back it up).

He probably wanted to have the last laugh against his ex when he learned that she was writting again. But he is probably so minor in the sci-fi scene (and also in the video game one, for that matter) that his ex didnt connect realized about his shit talking until a gator made the conection with her.

Alison account mentions that F Wu was manipulative enough to make his friends call his ex to harass her. This stuff is too depressing. Pro/AntiGamergate related stuff is actually quite toxic, but not as the SJW claim, more liike truly horrible people fighting for e-fame.

Brianna seems to miss that this kinda thing would cause outrage even if there wasn't a gamergate. Strangely, people don't like those who abuse and try to frame their victim as one instead.
And did she basically confess she left, apparently, the only good thing in R60 to somebody else and didn't even credit them?

Brianna's tumblr post doesn't even mention that it was Frank who started all this drama in the first place with his Facebook post. Neither does Brianna include a link to Alison's blog post, apparently because she hopes that her readers wouldn't look at Alison's post otherwise. Frank has apparently realized that that his "zoepost" was a terrible idea; while an archived version still exists, the link from which it was saved is no longer available, having been deleted or made private.

When will idiots learn that the internet never forgets.

You can't just delete shit and pretend it didn't happen, the internets always remembers.

And best of all, Brianna will never acknowledge that had she not personally inserted herself in to this fight, her shithead husband would probably have gotten away with once again trying to harm his ex. Based on the psycho reports from Flynt in college, I wouldn't be surprised if she was in on it too and thought it was hysterical until it's blown up in his face.

some things can be purged from the internet, but you need to be under the radar to do so. Even that is a maybe thanks to our friendly neighborhood archivers at the archive team and the waywayback machine. Once you've caught the ire &/or the interest of the interwebz there is not a snowballs chance in hell of being successful.

For every post you make, if it is something you wouldn't feel comfortable seeing on the front page of the paper don't post it on the internet. Everything you say or post can and will be over analyzed

That's more than a little bit hard when they constantly demand attention and victim points. They must have misconstrued the term "fight fire with fire" pretty badly.:P
