How long will Revolution 60 come to Steam?

Not even joking, I was convinced this would happen. Was waiting on Wu to come out and say that Rev60 might come to Linux too, because it's a project that'd take a really long time to complete, even if professionals were doing it.
There's no way that Wu can completely redo the entire game to run on Linux is there?

It was never Paint. If you zoom in on those, they are inside the game engine
 
Yes, Wu. Please install a Linux distro. Because either of these two things will happen:

1. John will post on Twitter asking for help with his flergen parsing a backend kernel to a tarball. Most people will laugh at the obvious idiot trying to make out like he knows what he's doing. A few hardy souls will try to very gently walk Wu through the basics of actually booting up Linux. John will scream about mansplaining, claim Linux is designed for white tech dudebros, and will stomp off back to Mac in a huff, thoroughly embarrassed about the whole thing but unwilling to admit he's not as smart as he thinks he is.

2. John will proudly announce his installing of LipstickLinux, the totally female-friendly and awesome Linux distro he can "engineer" in with ease. Now Revolution60 will be available on Linux too, very soon! This tweet will be the last we'll ever hear of it as John fails to get Linux to do anything, is too embarrassed to admit he's not as smart as he thinks he is, and hopes everyone will quietly forget he ever mentioned it.

Some Linux distros are easier for first-timers than others, but it still takes patience and willingness to learn. Wu has neither.
 
Isn't Linus "The Cunt Ruiner" Torvalds slightly problematic? Engages in cyberbullying and doesn't have a CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md for the Linux kernel?

Think she should stick to true and honest POC femgineer coded operating systems with Contributor Covenant approved CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md files........... oh wait...... *crickets*

You laugh, but just you wait until Ari Schlesinger finishes her thesis on what a feminist programming language would look like.

Then you'll see. They'll make an OS where multithreading optimization is assigned by calculating the current privilege of each of your system's registers, where you have to get a signed consent form to download anything onto the machine, and where at any time your OS can change it's root kernel based on how it's feeling that day.

This. I want her to try and document her complete and utter failure to do so. Any person who has the slightest clue about what they're doing would just burn a Live CD/DVD and do a test run to see if it's what they want, except I'm not sure if Wu has an external DVD drive for her MacBook so that's probably out of the question. What's left is a Live USB which Apple products are quite picky about booting off of (I'm certain it could be done, would just take research and a specific process; my own MacBook practically demanded twenty virgins and a goat as a sacrifice before it would boot off of a USB, and even then it would only run another version of OS X). Or she could just YOLO it, install an OS she doesn't want on the wrong drive partition and have an excuse to never ever release Revolution 60 because somehow completely reformatting her laptop removed all of the data files from her Desktop tower.

I want to see this operating system in existence. Seriously, I do. I want to see this operating system where it doesn't matter what order the 0s and 1s are in; it's how the OS feels that's important.

Wu mentioned trying out Linux Mint, which, in fairness to Wu, would make a good "babby's first distro".

Reminds me of C+= language /g/ designed. It was hilarious at first, where the logic flowcharts for the language were round bubbles because squares were edgy and thus masculine. Then /pol/ found out and it became "DIE CIS SCUM" and other obvious attacks on feminism rather than a subtle parody of third wave feminism in tech.

He should do that and then he could run any OS he wanted on it, even OS X. Since he's such a brilliant engineer :lol:, that would keep him busy for a couple of years trying to make them all work and delay REV 60 even more.

That important Canadian politician was Guilluame "Sophie" Labelle.
After that, they teamed up to take down the Prime Minister and establish the Wubelle Trans Empire.
They soon split up after a heated argument about Wu's truscum gender surgery and Labelle's obsession about children's genitals.

John is currently trying to retake the empire with Linux. Labelle forgot about the whole thing and resumed making shitty comics.
