He's not actually a lawyer. He's a patent agent with a Ph.D. in bacterial genetics.

I meant to go back and edit that. Someone messaged to tell me that.
Still, he seems to be at least somewhat intelligent. Then I realize how much money he burned to help make Revolution 60 and question it.

How the hell can he keep getting away with this? Even the shitty jobs I've applied to did a simple background check to prove I am who I said I was and that the degree I claimed is real.

Aside from the backchannels and general incompetence/malaise by organizers raised earlier in the thread, I will theorize that Wu might also be screaming harrassment whenever conference organizers ask for background proof of her claims. The bigger conferences like GDC will just drop her ASAP, but the pay-to-speak conferences will just kowtow to her snarl-tics.

Canada: another country where John's game remains unavailable.

What really IS going on with Rev 60?

Can the Steam Review process take this long?

It's all new to me so I'm utterly in the dark here....I guess my ultimate question is, "Is this a legit delay or simply more Wu-ing?"
3 business days to review the game? Doesn't sound out of the ordinary to me. If I'm not mistaken, Valve checks the game and gives their OK. After that, it's the dev's call to release the game.
If "checking the game" involves trying to run it, Bribri might be in a bit of a predicament.
She's most likely going to react by tweeting something about evil GG operating systems refusing to run her glorious game or Valve being run by shitlords that broke her game deliberately.

It's like when she tries to come off as especially professional and spouts words she possibly has no idea what they mean.
Or when she tries to sound very business-y and uses terms like "meeting", "secretary" or "personal assistant".

Valve approved the game. Bri mentioned yesterday that she has to do launch trailers and promo stuff before unleashing it on the world. Basically, it's a con. She won't release it anytime soon because "reasons" (hint hint, GAMERGATEEEEEEE)

Well, the stereotype is that Canadian say "sorry" a lot.

You could try to adapt the habit of apologizing 24/7 for being a talentless scam-artist that takes money from people to produces poop.

It takes 2-3 days to review a game, so if it's not out by tomorrow, it's definitely Wu-ing.

Lots of morons get Ph.D.s, but bacterial genetics is not a field where you can just fake it.

She probably saw that ep of Hawaii Five-0 where McGarrett said that going to Canada was worse than jail. :stress:

I understand that when you die in Canada, you die for real.

When she said "international flight" with no country I knew it had to be Canada or non-existent. God only 16 hours to prepare for a trip to canada. Make sure you don't forget something important.

Does anyone know why she got a passport to begin with?

According to the data we got during the Background Check Incident, Brianna Wu has neither a Driver's License nor ID card, presumably because her history as John Flynt might be accessible that way.
