A TRUE and HONEST developer woul probably have tested their game extensively in the environment that it is to be released in, so Wu leaves it running to artifiicially inflate the hours played to make it look like a lot of time was spent playing/testing.

There is archives of Wu's recently played overview that shows minuscule amounts of hours played for almost every month though. Also the game is shit so there was no testing and everyone with half a brain would know that.
