Cuban standard of living is better than American.

Chinese firewall is good because he thinks it’s the same as a

UN intervention in the Korean War was genocide against the Korean people.

And a lot more which I don’t care to remember.

The few times I’ve tried to argue with him he just describes me as being brainwashed without explaining how, and refers to random leftists on the internet as being more trustworthy than professional sources because “you can’t listen to western/CIA propaganda”.

He’s genuinely doing what he thinks is right and has a lot of good qualities but he’s let the internet twist his worldview into an abomination.

Most leftists tend to be naive people who think that because they're government lied to them that foreign countries are totally honest and not at all lying to serve their own interests.

This is probably the most revolting thing about modern commies. They try and distance themselves from the failures and atrocities of past communist regimes by saying they "weren't real communism" but when you actually bring up the worst of those atrocities, at least half of them won't disavow them, and will even openly celebrate them when they're among themselves.

Literally not true in the slightest. Every eastern bloc country hated it. East Germans constantly tried escaping to West Berlin in order to be transported to West Germany and be freed. Other Eastern block countries had people trying to escape all the time. When most of the eastern block countries finally freed themselves from communism, the authorities who's job it was to crack down on dissent thought nothing would happen because they believed most people liked the communism they were living under and wouldn't support an uprising. Then communism was no more

America did not want Hitler to win. We were secretly supporting the allies throughout the war through the lend-lease act. We even had trade routes that supplied the Soviets through Iran and Persia to give them supplies. Hitler also stationed multiple armies throughout the West, especially after America entered the war. He was fighting the non-soviets in Africa, Greece, Italy, and France before it just continued to liberate Western Europe

The Kulaks were the actual farmers who knew what they were doing. This is a scary thought for someone to have and if I was more authoritarian, I would say anyone who legit believes this should be put on a list and monitored at all times
