Bolsonaro wins

I figured I'd start this thread in a similar manner to the Swedish one, about a topic of considerable importance this weekend which we all forgot about.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brazilian_general_election,_2018
General elections are scheduled to be held in Brazil on 7 October 2018 to elect the President, Vice President and the National Congress. Elections for state Governors and Vice Governors, state Legislative Assemblies and Federal District Legislative Chamber will be held at the same time.

So, who do you think is going to win? Will @AN/ALR56 come back to life and educate us? Polls looks quite good for Bolsonaro as God-Emperor of the southern half of the New World.

From what I can tell, he's really really tough on crime, and isn't going to take any shit from the SJW sphere of race-baiting politically-correct LGBTBBQWTF+ trannies.

Is he /nosso menino/?

I don't know why anyone would think Brazil would vote socialist after looking at Venezuela. But again, progressivisim is failing as an ideology. The right-wing resurgence is happening all over.

I love the mental gymnastics the left has to go through to prove that they aren't to blame for the right becoming more palatable to the masses. It would've been so easy to prevent this, most of the world political parties from the late 80's into the early 00's had wide popular support, if not apathy about what they were doing, from the public at large. They could have stayed there had they just kept throwing the occasional bone or backing the occasional right policy and then massively watering it down, but at some point in the early 10's, they completely lost their shit and openly told everyone they consider them smelly animals and since the animals don't have any power, get used to it.... and are now panicking as the animals are coming for them.... how could they not see it?

Even if some of these right wing socialists are as bad as claimed, who is to blame for running your party so far left that they look centrist?

Another question for Brazilian Kiwis:

What's the deal with the giant red spot in Northeastern Brazil (Bahia, etc.)? Was it always so left-leaning?

Intersting. Funnily, I can't seem to find these photos elsewhere. It's almost as if google is suppressing wherever you found them from the search results. You have the source by any chance?
The same Google gave me this Brazilian article with the same photo.

Google Translate said:
Last Tuesday, 16, Bolsonaro received a visit from makeup artist and digital influencer Agustin Fernandez, who had already been harassed by the PSL candidate in the past. The approach was seen as an attempt to soften the candidate's statements against the LGBT community in the campaign for the second round.

Agustin Fernandez also posted his photo with Bolsonaro at Instagram. He seems to be Bolsonaro's supporter.

Has anyone posted his Wikipedia page yet?

https://en.m.wikiquote.org/wiki/Jair_Bolsonaro

I've never seen a more biased page before. Absolutely devoid of any real info and clearly made for one purpose.

edit: I'm an idiot and need to pay more attention.

That's the WikiQUOTE page.
The point stands, though. 55% of Brazilian voters chose this guy. What did he say to make these people vote for him and why isn't it represented on the website? If anything, libs could hold him accountable if he goes back on campaign promises. He ran a nationwide campaign, why aren't there any quotes about him from his supporters?

The only pro-Bolsonaro quote is by David fucking Duke. Whoever compiled that page would rather cite a 'murican white supremacist than one of 57'797'466 Brazilians.

The Portuguese page is much longer but there is absolutely fuckery going on. Note the fact that one person single-handedly wrote most of the page starting around March this year and made the article 10 times bigger than what it was previously. Note also "MayTheForce" has almost exclusively wrote the Jair Bolsonaro page with no other articles touched except God(!?) and Charlie Chaplin.

The left freaking out is funny but some shit they say is a little infuriating.

gringx

For god's sake that's the most 'I have no idea what i'm talking about but I know i'm being opressed' posts i've seen. I hate the implication that there isnt white people in 'latino' countries. Fuck off.

I love how the SJWs from America are trying to speak for Brazilians like they have existed in Brazil this whole time.

No wonder their ideology is dying a horrible, slow death.
