Semi-off topic: why were the chalice dungeons hated by Souls autists? I assume they're similar to the dungeons in Elden Ring and if so I kind of get it because those areas felt too similar to each other and were overall pretty grindy but it wasn't a wholly unpleasant experience playing those dungeons.

And the Elden Ring dungeons were the weaker parts of it for the most part (though you assuming that they are all mostly the same makes the ones that spice it up be a lot more memorable). I only did the fixed dungeons and they felt like a slog just to reach the Pnumerian queen or whatever she was called. I didn't experiment with all of the gnarly stuff people achieved with codes though, so I will definitely give it that there is a huge sandbox appeal to them, but I favor designed content over generated content any day of the week.

Farming for health is fucking gay.

Yes, it is very gay, but after doing it a few times, I just ended up shoving all of my remaining blood echoes into vials after leveling up and never had to farm ever again. Also, we talking mods now baby, so a mod that always has you on 20 blood vials would be kino.

I read a schizo theory about it having something to do with it being a Sony Japan thing and California Sony higher ups don't like the game and want it buried, but I assume that's not true. Easier to believe they're just retarded.
