The dev basically criticizes everyone involved, states he's not an idiot and knew exactly what would happen when he put the game up. He'd get praise from woke outlets, horrible Steam reviews, then angry journalists saying gamers are racist. He says none of this shit matters because nobody actually cares about these issues. That they care more about Princess Peach's dress length than women in the Middle East. So he used the fire to send a message.

I don't know if it worked really though. Hey, at least he made a few dollars off it.
