Not the intro cinematic, but the intro monologue. Just under 30 seconds and the game already is making itself stand out amongst its JRPG peers:


And while the series has been a bit deflated in importance in recent years, I still love the intro to Bioshock, esp. since this was the first experience I had after I decided to be done being a Nintendo fantard...

 
I like the opening to Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles (GCN).

(both the English dub and the original Japanese)
 
I’m gonna be a bit of a weeb and say any JRPG that takes the time to make a full anime intro for their game, simply because most of the time they do put a lot of effort into them.

Since Bioshock already got posted, going with another favorite.

I don't think a tutorial has ever felt that good. The game is a bit uneven but I wish someone would have picked up the airdrop mechanic.
