I really wonder why they bothered doing an autopsy. Why did they think that person died?
Some places have a protocol that hospitals must follow after a patient dies... even if the cause of death is obvious, a death might become an automatic Medical Examiner's case if they're under a certain age, if they've died within 24 hours after being admitted to the hospital, etc..

I want to know where she gets the money for these shopping trips. She probably was receiving SSI before, but if she's in a nursing home or other facility (like hospice or assisted living) long term, she's not getting more than $30/month. And they check your living situation yearly. She doesn't qualify for SSDI because she's never worked.

Generally, people who live in institutions such as hospitals, nursing homes, prisons or jails are not eligible for SSI or are only eligible for a maximum of $30 a month (some States supplement this $30 benefit).

Some nursing homes and assisted living facilities will take residents out to local shopping centers. They'll have a small bus or van for taking multiple residents out at once, like a field trip. It's not just for shopping. It gets them out of the home for a bit, entertains/stimulates them, and gets them to walk around for exercise. Trips to the store can be used as a carrot to incentivize good behavior. Her outing selfies are either inside of a Target or as a vehicle passenger. I suspect she's going out as part of a structured trip with the home, or a single caretaker is driving her around for enrichment.

If there are seniors living with her, imagine those poor souls thinking the Grim Reaper is just there next to them.

"Death! Death has come for me!!"

"No, honey, no, remember, it's not Death, it's Ashley... ASH-LEY!".

Well, she's certainly not using it for food.

At what point did they stop saying she looks so thin and needs to eat something?

Yes, I know that but those trips aren't mandatory, and I can't see jealous bitchy Ashley going window shopping. She's too narcissistic for that. She'd just whine online about having to go to the store without being able to buy things, so people would send her pity bux. She mentions buying things when she goes too.

I hope she doesn't live with any Holocaust or Gulag survivors. Would probably give them flashbacks.

Very true. There are some facilities where each resident is given a set amount (say, $20) to spend. Target is a frequent one. Of course, any items the residents intend to purchase are first 'approved' by the techs before they all collectively leave.

It's also worth noting (and correct me if I'm wrong-- I don't follow Ash as closely as other threads here), we have no idea if she's receiving money from some random source or stranger out of sympathy.

Aren't her parents still kicking?

Why wouldn't they be throwing $150 (or whatever) in her direction every month?

If I were a reasonably middle-class parent, I'd give her that money to not have to deal with her.

That’s what I was thinking. Even if my daughter and I couldn’t speak, I’d probably still at least want to make sure she had things she wanted in her last (supposed) days.

Maybe the apple didn’t fall too far from the tree though, and moms a mean bitch.

It also wouldn’t surprise me that her regular supporters felt the same way and sent her stuff to make their feels lessen and make her happier. People like to send sick people stuff.

There's no point investing money in a dead child.
If I was her parent, I'd be giving her nothing, it's not like she has any life or prospects ahead of her. Plus she clearly hates her entire family going by her attitude, it'd be hard to support her even out of love. She's done this to herself, doesn't want to get better and has utter contempt for anybody that loves her and only wishes to abuse and manipulate them in whatever capacity she can.

I'd say, best brush her off into the hands of the care home or wherever she lives. They'll deal with it.

I take it you've never loved somebody? Just because somebody threw their life away, doesn't mean you just stop loving them, especially when they're your own child.

look at episodes of intervention or my 600 lbs life
there is a reason the term enabler exists.
you still garner that small hope that they will turn their life around or atleast you dont want them to suffer to much to the road of hell
