If we can laugh at morbidly obese people for being terrible people, we can laugh at an anorexic person for being a terrible person. Quit skirting the White Knight line just because she was slightly above average when she was younger.
Her health issues are no less serious than the 350+ pound whales we regularly giggle at in the Dumblr section. No point being all high and mighty.

Agreed. I do think the thread should be relabelled as a horrorcow thread, though. It's really about how awful and shitty this skeleton is, and how she disgraces the otherwise proud skelly race.

Ash has stalked her selfies before, she's known to try to befriend other anorexic girls/fuck up their recoveries. I wouldn't be surprised if Ging responded with her "BACK OFF HUN! I'M NOT SICK!"

Not to power level too much here but Ashley was always too much of a sad cow for me to follow.
She is a shitty human being by far but the shit she put her mother through and her decline kind of breaks my heart. A girl I went to middle school with was anorexic and looked just like Ash. Eventually she was deemed terminal and died before highschool...
By the spoopy way Ash looks now I doubt her body would even take in any food.

Me and a couple guys were talking about this not too long ago. Not to sound morbid or edgy, but there's literally no way she could live through this as far as I'm concerned. She's skeleton-level skinny at this point, she barely even resembles a human anymore. There are people who've died of starvation at lesser stages then she's currently at.

When it gets to this point (or let's face it, about 30 pounds heavier than this point) it's very rarely about appearance anymore, it's all about the control. She'll still hate herself and think she's fat and gross, but she can also use her illness to manipulate people around her and that makes her feel like she's in charge of her life. It's already been established that she hates her mum, her only friends are also incredibly sick and are vulnerable to Ashley only because they don't know how to play the game yet and she's going to die soon. If she isn't sick people won't have a reason to stay with her and they'll leave, if she stays sick they won't leave her. Anorexia is a selfish bitchy illness, it's incredibly tragic and is in no-way the fault of the victim but as the condition gets worse the self-denial and obsession just take over.

She's always very quick to point out that "TRIGGERING ACCOUNTS WILL BE BLOCKED", "NO COMMENTS ON MY APPERANCE I'M MENTALLY ILL" on her pictures, which means she obviously wants you to notice. She doesn't need photoshop but I wouldn't be surprised if she only selects pictures which are the most shocking because that means more attention.

And therein lies her toxicity. It's her desire to have an effect on others, and a shocking image will do that.
 
She's going to be dead soon.

There was a French model a couple years ago around her age who was in the process of recovery (which is difficult as fuck physically and emotionally) who died only a few months into her recovery process. The thing is though, Ashley is actually thinner and more skeletal than that French model was, and as soon as we start seeing bald patches on her, her body will begin the shutdown process.
