I'm necro bumping this post. Enjoy.

A couple of the lady folk from the lolcow farm are bothered by new rules about no anno cows. Most people here probably would agree, but I don't. I still think Ashley is amazing for shock value alone. Everyone needs to know who Ashley is; she is by far the most fascinating from the /cgl/ fork of lolcows.

It always amazes me when this thread gets bumped and it's not an obit.

Saw the update and instantly assumed she was dead

Ninja'ed.

I see this thread again, and the title keeps making me hum 'Smooth Criminal' with a tiny but pertinent modification to the chorus' lyrics. I did also make the instant assumption that she'd carked it.

On topic though, does anyone have a picture of Ashley's legs where it's like, a dog bone?

Genuinely surprised that there's enough muscle content there to allow her to stand, to be honest.

"Their number-crunching revealed, for instance, that a woman who develops the disorder at age 15 will live on average to age 56 -- 25 years less than the average Canadian female."

Unfortunately by now, her lifespan has drastically shortened unless she makes a full recovery. But even then, the damage is still done.

"The brain actually shrinks due to lack of nutrition with a commensurate lowering of IQ. The skeletal system is damaged, especially if the anorexia occurs in adolescents before the bones are fully developed. Nearly 90% of women with anorexia experience osteopenia (loss of bone calcium) and 40% have osteoporosis (more advanced loss of bone density). This bone loss is usually permanent.(1)"

And at the end of this website -
"When a woman gets cancer, she immediately seeks treatment, knowing the sooner the medical intervention, the greater the possibility for a full recovery. Anorexia should be no different. Excellent, life-changing treatment is available. If you, or someone you know, struggles with anorexia, please get help immediately."

My dear Ashley, are you too far gone to recover?

Daaaamn, I've never seen a case this severe. It's fascinating that she is quite literally skin and bone yet still has the energy to be horror-cutesy on Instagram.
I want to hug her (:_(.
Ain't gonna bugger my gal about her weight for a while guys.
She looks like she'd break if you breathed on her too hard, let alone hugged her.
