I've gathered that this has something to do with her psychobitch mother, whom I believe retains legal power over her.I'm surprised she's made it this long without being sectioned. She must surround herself with enablers.

I think part of it is also Florida.
I wouldn't say so actually. This is typical of people with anorexia who aren't recovering; they don't believe that having their weight so low is as dangerous as it actually is. Which is part of the reason why it's the most fatal mental disorder. She's still alive, still a stick and posting on the accounts in the OP regularly. I think she tries to keep herself around the same weight so she can get asspats for being a RECOVERING ANOREXIC without either dying or actually recovering.

But is it possible for someone to still be alive and mostly independent after suffering from anorexia for several years and never recovering? I'm admittedly not so familiar with the disorder, but something like that just beggars belief. We already know she has a history of lying and manipulating for attention.I wouldn't say so actually. Edit: can't spell for shitIf you're living alone it's quite possible to eat only enough to keep yourself mobile without exceeding 500 calories. Recovery takes so long as well, it's pretty easy to say that you're better or that you've put weight on when you haven't, or you have in fact been puking up everything you've eaten. Perhaps it's different if you have a history of lying and have been caught out, but generally parents and friends will believe what you say, or just accept that you're trying your best. After all, it's not you making the bad decisions, it's the disease!

Well, color me foolish - the jump between being a chronic liar who uses health conditions for attention and faking your conditions is so short that I had neglected to consider that seeking (real or imaginary) approval is a driving force behind this sort of disorder in the first place. It's a bit surprising to hear that some anorexic people do sustain themselves, but it makes this girl make much more sense. Thanks for the insight, powerlevel-y as it may be.So, I was hospitalized three times in the past years for several reasons, and there I met a couple of girl with eating disorders.
Those girls are very hardy because they are stubborn people. Even though for some of them, this caused their disorder in the first place, it's why I met a lady who was 20 who looked like 13. They won't let themselves die because they think they are doing something right to their bodies by starving, or puking, or binge eating. It's like they are adjusting their own medications to fit their own standart of healthy.
tl;dr: it's a very hard disease to treat because they are sure they are doing the right thing, and tough to kill because they still take care of their body.
A tattooist with a very strong stomach.I don't know if this was asked but who the fuck keeps tattooing her?

Though, honestly, even an easily fatal illness can't excuse her dragging in countless other people into her fantasy of being the anorexic queen bee. Or this.
