Hands are such a humiliation ritual man

you have no idea how many times i concidered buying this thing
but carrying it around would be very inconvinient
i feel like that's a bit of a scam ngl. just looking at it, the palm is a solid block, while our own palms are surprisingly flexible. you'd lose a lot of range i think. I often just use my own hands though it can be hard for certain angles lol.

Are you behind the shadow wizard money gang meme?
i refuse to answer this question

yeah had this thought
but its a pain sometimes to look at your own hand at the certain angle

anyway i lack expirience or knowledge to do this properly at the moment
i think colors are wrong, im trying to do the similar things i did before but it just doesnt look as good

added on to this concept some more, seeing if background and characters would make it more intriguing, unfortunately I pulled my arm at work and been resting it.

The asian style ones are really good and surprisingly not that expensive.

Ya I can try to put few things in there, im still just feeling things out, im trying really hard to slow down, and im not even sure if ill keep people in background, something about them feels off.

I thought about doing 3d pose thing, but thought of placing and poses 6+ characters seems like nightmare, but it probably worth it.

I don't know if anyone knows Mad magazine, or remember it, but I thought about coping their style for 250th/memorial piece I had. I also thought about painting it and hanging in break room at work. since only people who use it are boomers who come in morning, and I thought it be funny since they really hate Trump.

I was wondering about digital shading making it look clean. I normally draw with pen which Im super comfortable with but then I go virtual and the shading is fucked.

your artstyle is very similar to what @Elite Kipchak is trying to do recently so maybe he can drop in and help you out in more detail
i did spend like 30 minuties trying to recreate what you are doing and it come out kinda like that

you have a good sense on which parts should be shaded and which are not so i will consider the base colors covered
the thing i would recomend you to focus on is to try create a gradient and also i do recomend on doing line art sketch first
to achive gradient try to use the smudge tool and then reapeat the curvature of the body and lineart on the different layer helps with that a lot to not lose tarck of things
then you can do the highlights with more darker and lighter colors and erase all the messy outline so it would look cleaner

could you give like a break down on how you would do your shading, like a process or something? Those are really useful.

ill try
first its the lineart its a rough sketch for more serious works i reccomend to spend more time to do these
1779482978319.png
then you do the base colors with the account of the musceles and curves
1779483550352.png 1779483574308.png
then you take one of the smudge tools
1779483611426.png 1779483629123.png
then use them to kinda drag the paint to mold the shape
1779484283986.png 1779484319054.png
and the you kinda repeat the process but making the lines and adjustments smaller and more detailed untill you molded something that you are happy with

i feel like my first attempt was better, this one is kinda creeps me out
