You know what's crazy? Fantano literally sued the Fader and won. The article is gone forever. His audience never believed he was secretly alt-right either everyone knew it was a hit piece meant to slander him. He buckbroke himself for literally nothing. He could have kept his "thatistheplan" channel and no one would have cared. Just utter cowardice.

Shedding the ever-so-slightly edgy humour in response to the Fader article was kind of understandable, he is a music reviewer at the end of the day. Discarding his critical integrity to the extent that he is 'not mad' with The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill being rated the greatest album of all time - that is unforgivable.
 
There was a brief moment where I hoped that he´d turn his back on hip hop and other types of nigger worship after his she-boon ditched him.

It's not even the best rap album of the 90s, he said it was LET, but Lauryn is a black woman so it had to go to her.

The more that I see people like this praising Lauryn Hill’s debut as the greatest of all time, the more that I stand by my (contrarian) opinion that her album is one of the most overrated albums to be released in the 90’s.

Without question, this video just proved it.

I always think it’s odd to count your “debut” as tour first solo record once you’ve been in a group actively releasing music for a while. Like, Björk’s “Debut” is widely acclaimed but is it really a debut when she’d been in like 3 bands and making music for a good 12 years before? Lauryn Hill had made music with the Fugees before, so counting Miseducation as her debut feels odd. Especially because it was as much a collaboration as all of the Fugees’ work.

Except that the edgy humor was entirely separate from his main channel review content. It was all on a second channel called "thatistheplan" solely dedicated to that type of humor.
