Late, I know, but this is absurd too. Making money off of “evil” is the right thing to do. And if he’s not going to tell his breadtube friends to disregard building personal wealth why should Spotify’s CEO?
Because he’s become woke so he thinks it’s an astounding revelation that the United States is a superpower that does what all superpowers always do. Which is absolutely no secret. And he can only signal this, as he’s dying to do, by ineffectually hating on blue chip investments.

To clarify, not that it makes Fantano any less of a Twittoid Brain-Slug, but he disagreed somewhat hard with the assessment that Glover's record could in any ways be compared to OK C or Kid A even, especially as Glover's later record Awaken My Love was way more experimental and genre bending with a much more avantgarde approach, whereas, according to his assessment, Because the Internet is really nothing special compared to what acts like Clipping, Death Grips and the likes were doing with rap as a genre at that time. Standard production of the era, veiled in a seemingly ambitious concept that doesn't come to fruition in any way.

It’s been almost a month since the Melon was mentioned on this thread, so I’ll start:
Kendrick Lamar recently managed to have the Internet trending when he made a fifth installment of The Heart series, where he actually showed himself using deepfake technology inserting his own face with famous black entertainers/celebrities:
Because of this, every Internet commentator and music reactor had to put their two cents in and talk about how this music video was breathtaking to witness. Me, personally, I just thought it was OK — was not too bland, but was not all that great. (Like most fanbases, Kendrick’s has been known to overhype him a lot.)
Though, then again, I am not a Fantano. He’s been going back and forth with the Kendrick mania as of late:
However, this recent video is both odd and shows he’s been looking sick as of recently:
His main point in the video is where he compares Kendrick to the Greek philosopher Sisyphus and then randomly out of nowhere, claims that as a “white reactor”, he thinks his audience should be very mindful about how they critique black culture and black music because of this one video that happened to be on the Trending block for just two days. Overall, he loved the music video and song, but he also says that it “F’d him up emotionally”.
My guess is, he just doesn’t want to give the new Kendrick album a “7” again and piss off more Kendrick fans in the process.
Either way, Kendrick’s new album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers is releasing this upcoming Friday. I’ll come back on this thread whenever he releases the review for this, because if it’s anything like his DAMN. or To Pimp A Butterfly reviews, then this will either be his most cringeworthy or hilariously “woke” reviews I’ve seen in a while.

I think when rewatching the video again, he exaggerated in what was a joking tone, pointing at his own head when he talked about “white music reviewers”. Your point still stands, but I think Fantano only said this because he wants his own fanbase to know how much he wants to be validated by Kendrick’s fan base and again not piss them off by giving his upcoming album a 7/10.
Either way, Fantano did not learn anything from the time where he cried over a deceased Mac Miller song a few years back.

In another video he does say in retrospect he did not like Damn and would have rated it lower. I guess he did not want another MDBTF "backlash".

Kendrick’s album officially dropped, and 4chan’s /mu/ noticed that a few songs had him mention the likes of his aunt turning into a trans person, his mother being molested at an early age and him actually admitting that he had sex with white girls that he used to then think he hated white people.
The posters are now wondering what score Fantano is going to give it now after it’s all said and done, but this meme pretty much predicts what one could expect:
