I think the nena crossover is just a pure coincidence. In a video back in oct-nov (whatever year it was when she and destiny lived together in the townhouse), amber was all giggly over her weight loss buddy, Nena, in TN who was like her soulmate or exactly like her, or something like that (If I find the video, I'll post it below). Fast forward to Amber in her lives with Rafe, we learn that becky and Nena were together for 5 years, and Nena dumped her out of the blue in a Taco Bell. Rafe and crew hate Nena. Ok, rewind to when amber was all alone and sad over destiny, she may have had one date or so with Becky at this point, she got weight loss buddy Nena to pick her up in KY and drive her to VA to visit Krystle. I'm assuming she dangled fixing them up over Nena to get her to agree to the trip. I guess it worked, because then Krystle was driving up to visit Nena every few weeks, and for whatever reason she and Nena would then go to KY to stay with/pick up Amber so she could third-wheel it. Then Nena moved in with Krystle in VA.

Rafe gave the impression that Nena and Becky did NOT end on good terms, so I don't think it was Nena pushing Becky in Amber's direction. I think it's just one big, hefty, redneck, lesbian mafia coincidence.

I'm not disagreeing, I'm just trying to follow the crumbs. The part I'm stuck on is Al and Nena knowing each other and Al dating Thumb without Al knowing Nena was the ex. I have no idea if that made any sense...

I totally agree, but given the date of the mention, I can't figure out how they met. Also, since Nena was in TN, I'm not sure it would have come up in conversation early on with Becky unless they're mutual FB friends or something.

ETA: in Becky's first message, she said she hadn't been in a relationship in 9 months. I'm not sure if that relationship was with Nena, but it's possible they both watched Amber together when they were together, and that's how Becky learned about Amber.

A bit late, but just wanted to say that there was a time when Becky was taking some kind of medicine I think (AL even showed it off in her vlogs which many people think was super dispeckful - agreed) and she did come off as having constant brain fog. So still agree she might not be genuinely retarted like Destiny, but there were times when she was not the sharpest either (not her fault though).

Correct me if I am wrong though, that just how I roughly remember things...

Not autistic enough to look for exact dates but I'm pretty sure the Zombecky phase was really recent, like, 2020. Maybe late 2019.
Though the meds can't take all the credit, she's always given me stoopid vibes (but "nice stoopid", not "amber stoopid")

I’m pretty sure that was within the last year as well. Becky does come off as slow but I think it’s just her personality. I’ve always gotten the vibe that she is incredibly depressed and just desperate to have somebody be with her whom she knows won’t leave

Like you I am too unbothered to check for actual dates but I think it was last summer? It was pre-cancer anyway. Becky had a ‘mysterious medical issue’ that Amber was dying to tell us about but couldn’t which involved having to go sugar-free. She lost a lot of weight and was like a zombie, there’s a great picture of her in the background of one of the vids where she is lying on the sofa blankly staring into space. We never found out what it was she had but it appears cured now, if putting on a ton of weight and staying with Amberlynn can be described as a positive.
 
I haven't been watching the Amberverse for the longest time, so yes, I agree, Zombecky must have been last year, me thinks it was the last quarter of 2019, maybe even during vlogmas? I remember that scene where Amber is sitting on the couch and talking and Becky walks through the living room like a ghost. Wasn't this scene cut and made into a meme and played over and over?

That's exactly how I read it...a sarky 'are you feeling ok?' - the implication being Amber really doesn't think Becky is sexy or cute hence there must be something wrong with Kristine for her to say so...

So passive-aggressive - I'd feel sorry for Becky but then I remember she's a grown adult who could leave Albert any time she wanted to...seems to me she either has a humiliation fetish or she's just perfectly happy wiping 600lb ass and being disrespected in exchange for colouring books and snapbacks

Yeah, it was around vlogmess. As bolth their birthdays are around that time too, I remember Thumb's birthday "dinner" of "soup beans" that Eric fucked up like the sped he is. ZombieThumb was in full lobotomy then.
