The time that any useful info could have come out of this was when Epstein "suicided". I remember reading here that the feds swooped in on his island as soon as Epstein was cold. That was the time when anything useful could have been discovered. Obviously, nothing of significance came out of that. I'd guess the info collected was either destroyed or buried for future blackmail use. The plebs... us, will only learn what they want us to.

It's a shame, but not surprising, that both sides of the political aisle politicized this. Likely to further muddy the waters, especially as a lot of them could be implicated in this shitshow.

As a longtime proponent of the "conspiracy" that Mossad used Epstein as both an Access Agent and a source of sexual blackmail, I truly had the best July. I got a handful of texts from ex-friends who accused me of antisemitism upon hearing me explain why the US won't do anything to stop the slaughter of civlians in Gaza back in late 2023. A family friend even texted me and asked to go over what happened with the USS Liberty.
 
God its depressing watching so many change tune about epstine because of Trump. Its becoming more and more likely that Trump is as guilty as the Clinton's are.

All of the people closest to the case have been saying for years he's not involved whatsoever. Somehow this hasn't deterred people. I'm not sure what evidence could exist that would change their mind.

If he's not involved whatsoever then why the fuck did he hype it up, and then suddenly not release it?

Either way you look at it, that's suspicious af, and anyone who suddenly tries to defend that is also suspicious af.

If he was involved why wasn't that leaked from 2021-2025? I can play underpants gnome logic too. Neither question means anything they're just invitations to supposition and conjecture

I don't know, and that's part the overarching question here.

What exactly is in the files that's making both parties do this, and why did Trump hype them up only to suddenly backpedal on the whole thing?

Mutually Assured Destruction. If one side goes nuclear so does the other. A lot of people from both sides of the aisle might well be on that list.
 
The people on both sides behaving strangely makes perfect sense in exactly two scenarios:
1. They are all in the files and all are acting under a vast and extremely powerful blackmail network with a singlular directive: the names can not be released under any circumstances
2. There aren't any names to release

Unfortunately 2 can never be proven because no amount of evidence of nonexistence will ever suffice who those who believe theory 1. And any attempt by anyone to demonstrate theory 2 is true inevitably ends up as evidence for theory 1 and the people attempting it are automatically assumed to be under the influence of the vast shadow network. It's the perfect nondisproveable theory. Russell's teapot could never.

3. "Epstein," the entire case/event/op/etc, was not what anyone observing what's visible of it from outside thinks it was.
