I did see people bring up the idea that Epstein might still be alive, wasn't even a thought that crossed my mind but I find it to be pretty plausible. Don't know what him being dead or alive changes, way I see it he's living on borrowed time regardless and we'll never hear a peep from him ever again.

If he knew he might be implicated in "the files" why would he allow them to be such a strong flavour in his campaign? Could be that he thought acting nonchalant about it and promising more information was the best way to deflect suspicion and quell the public unease about it. I'm sure he knew plenty already during his first presidency, and then likely even more after Epstein's arrest and death, and yet he still presented as pro-transparency. Something has happened relatively recently that has forced Trump to completely alter his approach, and his new approach is rushed, incoherent, and panicky. Either someone has told the President of the most powerful nation in existence to fall in line and humiliate himself and his supporters, or he's only just realized for the first time that transparency would fuck him over too and he's backed into a corner. The first option sounds far more outlandish on paper but in this world of ours anything is possible

It's most likely either England/Royal Family or Mossad, or both?--Trump has a meeting with King Charles in September regarding Canada and the potential annexation, which is interesting given the timing between that and this fiasco. Maybe Trump is trying to keep good graces so the annexation could happen with the added possibility of America joining the commonwealth?
