He may not have hit the tips goal but he still made $137 an hour today, more than that if you don't count the 2 or so hours he pissed away in break-time and prestream. DSP's hourly wage rivaled that of doctors and surgeons, held up entirely by wheelchairs.

I think it would be nice if we could stop going full conspiracy theory with DSP's whales. Do they do shady shit? Yes. But one of them just casually dropping $2000+ is insane, even OIC couldn't pull that only dropping at best $1k. DSP doesn't have a network of arab kings with endless pockets, he has a handful of retards who are old enough to be making decent money and don't mind throwing it away. They have limits, and DSP is pushing those limits.

All of that said this is still a massive win for DSP as that is a lot of money to waste on WWE Champions while also getting his last Twitch payment.

DSP, if you're reading this. Be smart for once in your retarded life and save some of that.

but still needs to hit those daily tip goals.
As opposed to Phil doing what? Saying "Wow guys, I got a great paycheck from Twitch and won't ask you to help me hit the tips goal for the next week at least!"?

Fat chance of Phil ever not saying that he needs to hit the daily tips goal. I honestly don't remember the last time an entire day went by and Phil didn't mention how he needed to hit the tips goal.

The 300$ Miu Iruma Tip is OIC confirmed.
I know we all knew this goes down, but usually OiC is more coy about it.
Keep in mind that Phil specifically said that people weren't going to tip under aliases anymore, specifically because everyone thinks every tip is OiC.
Now OiC confirms he is tipping under aliases, and Phil is getting angry that people are saying it's OiC when he clearly confirmed that it was.

Phil once again needlessly full of shit, particularly when it comes to the defense of a precious whale.
Goddamn, I am actually surprised he didn't make this visibly. Especially after that fucking 2k cat debacle. I'm actually still not sure I believe he gets behind the scenes tips. It seems to go against everything his fucking wheelchairs believe in.
The notifications that don't pop up but that he reads suggests that Phil does get direct contributions for a number of whales, and he seems to selectively read tips from those people, like SilentBob, for instance. We don't know when that guy actually tips, and he allegedly only watches on YT. He seems to give Phil about $37/stream. But he also somehow only seems to tip when Phil has yet to meet the tip goal. I sincerely doubt this - I think he sends money every day and Phil only reads it when he wants to boost the number for the day. He also recently received a tip from a newly verified user between streams and refused to state the amount. That was likely $200 if it was the same as their refunded unverified tip. And we know he made arrangements with Jeff, clearly OiC, and openly asked to speak via email with DevilUK. He tried to negotiate a $9k contribution from a troll posing as a fan via email and keep it off the stream so that nobody knew about it. And a fan tipped $1100 between streams that Phil had to disable the streamlabs tip leaderboard to hide. To this day he refuses to acknowledge that he received that amount and insists it was some glitch (it wasn't).

Even if he isn't receiving behind the scenes tips on a consistent basis, he actively seeks to. He's been very clear that he reviles transparency, and if someone consents to hiding the money, he will always choose that over transparency.

Post stream, pre gin tweeets

Hey Jaxx_Cuckzor you fucking fag, if you had dumped your call center $1k on Phil today, you could have had so many more asspats than a random fucking Street Fighter stream. Dumb fuck.

I mean you're not wrong, but like his fans are too damn dumb to keep things quiet. Like OIC just today, in the chat, was like "Oh look at me, I gave money under a sock wink wink". And Phil himself I have little faith in not blurting out something dumb. Like he's the kinda moron who calls his wife mom on accident. He is a Freudian slip and slide. I mean maybe I am just trying to rationalize someone who has no real pattern. But I don't think the math adds up.

You got the $9k behind the scenes email thing? It sounds familiar and sounds like something Tevin would cover, but I don't know if I've actually seen it

eh you can make fun but for all we know that badass was too busy cutting throats and taking new contracts today in his glamorous life of asking strangers if they need their ducts cleaned to make the stream

You're also right, but not all of his whales seek that OiC kind of attention. If OMM or NoCouture are Swagginz, then he has shifted from openly lusting to be the biggest cheerer to tipping under aliases and saying nothing about it at all. Whoever did that $1100 also kept their mouth shut. E7 never said a word or came back. If there are people like SilentBob who aren't even on the streams, then they'd be easy to make arrangements with. Some of them are probably stupid enough to truly believe Phil needs their help and are happy to be his secret behind the scenes hero.
so much for a "marathon" it was just a normal length stream.
Plot twist - 'marathon' didn't actually refer to the stream, it referred to the tips goal.

Fuck that! DSP if you are reading this, are you really going to miss out on those Hogan pulls? For once you could be #1 in something Phil. Don't let this opportunity slip through ur fingers.
